Tug approach control
The invention relates to a tug for maneuvering a vessel, comprising at least one proximity sensor in a contact area, the proximity sensor being configured to detect a distance between the contact area and the vessel, and a tug controller unit controlling an approach of the tug towards the vessel based on the detected distance between the contact area and the vessel.
Watersports System and Assembly, Method of Manufacture and Dismantling
The watersports system comprises a floating, non-motorized watersports assembly (12) provided with an interface (30) for removable sealed assembly to a marine engine. The first floating watersports assembly includes an assembly interface (39) for assembly with a second floating watersports assembly. The watersports system comprises a second floating watersports assembly (14), comprising an assembly interface (37) for assembly with the first floating watersports assembly. Assembling the first floating watersports assembly and the second floating watersports assembly forms a second, floating craft (1) that can be sailed, propelled by an engine (2).

Carouseling articulated dredge and barge
A vessel and vessel/barge systems for dredging underwater surfaces. The vessel includes a hull with a bottom, bow portion, stern portion, port side, and starboard side. The vessel also includes a deck supported by the hull and a pump system mounted within the hull. A drag arm pivotably couples to the pump system. The vessel additionally includes a void defined by contiguous watertight walls or bulkheads joined to and extending upward from the bottom of the hull. The contiguous watertight walls or bulkheads are (i) vertically extensive of a perimeters of an aperture in the bottom of the hull, (ii) outboard, astern, and forward the aperture, or (iii) some combination thereof. The barge is releasably coupled to the vessel. Moreover, the barge is in fluidic communication with the drag arm.
PRIMARY NAVIGATION SYSTEM FOR TUGBOATS WITH AN OBSTRUCTED PILOT VIEW
A primary navigation system for a tugboat that is detachably connected to another vessel, which obstructs the tugboat's pilot view when assisting the vessel.
Methods and system relating to positioning a ship to side-by-side configuration alongside a floating offshore storage facility and transferring fluid cargo therebetween
A method is for performing an approach to position a ship in side-by-side configuration alongside a floating offshore storage facility, for transfer of fluid cargo between the floating offshore storage facility and the ship. The method may comprise connecting a helper vessel to the ship, moving the ship on an approach path toward the floating offshore storage facility using the helper vessel, and obtaining a component of sideways movement of the ship by applying thrust from the connected helper vessel, to facilitate moving the ship on the approach path and position the ship in the side-by-side configuration. The ship can be brought into the side-by-side configuration alongside the floating offshore storage facility, at least one transfer pipe can be connected between the ship and the floating offshore storage facility, and communication can be opened through the transfer pipe to communicate fluid cargo between the ship and the storage facility.

Apparatus and method to assist with water sport board maneuvers
An apparatus and method for decreasing the difficulty of executing a pop-up maneuver on a water sport board, such as a surfboard, is disclosed. Said apparatus consists of either one or two devices attached to the surfboard at the location where a user places his hands to execute the pop-up maneuver. Said devices move the user's hands away from the deck of the surfboard, creating more space between the surfer and the board during the pop-up maneuver, facilitating the user to swing the user into position and execute the pop-up maneuver.
