The invention relates to a method for applying and molding a moldable coating compound (4), which is viscous during a predetermined application period and is cured once the application period has elapsed, onto a subsurface (2), in particular the outer skin of a watercraft, having the following steps: During the application period, the coating compound (4) is applied onto the subsurface (2); during the application period, a flexible planar substrate (6) is placed onto the applied coating compound (4); and, during the application period, a molding tool (8) is brought temporarily to bear on the substrate (6) to bring the surface (4a) of the coating compound (4) into a required shape.

A spacer assembly for flooring systems, such as for aircraft flooring, includes a spacer panel and one or more flooring panels. The spacer panel includes a core layer and a bottom layer. The core layer has a top face and a bottom face and the bottom layer has a lower face and an upper face that is bonded to the bottom face of the core layer. The lower face of the bottom layer is located adjacent to a structural floor and the bottom layer slides over the structural floor. The one or more flooring panels connect to the top face of the core layer, where the flooring panel and the spacer panel slide over the structural floor. Two or more flooring panels can be connected, such as by an adhesive material, to a spacer panel with a sealant member between the flooring panels to avoid infiltrations of liquids.

A boat chair configured such that it may be converted between several storage and/or use configurations and may be detachably affixed to and removed from a boat or placed on a boat using a free-standing stand. The boat chair may be configured such that the boat chair may be used in multiple use positions and may be transitioned into one or more storage configurations to allow for the boat chair to be more easily transported and/or stored. A resin infusion repair device and method for repairing a wooden boat deck having a repair area that includes voids between the planking of the boat deck and the as built surface under the boat deck planking. A vacuum cover provides an airtight cover of the repair area. A vacuum suction line is inserted into the vacuum cover. A vacuum pump is connected to the vacuum suction line and provides vacuum suction at the repair area. A resin supply line is inserted through the vacuum cover. A resin supply source is connected to the resin supply line. The vacuum pump provides a vacuum suction that draws resin from resin supply source through the resin supply line and into the repair area so that the voids are all filled with the resin. In a preferred embodiment, the wooden boat deck is a teak boat deck.

A deck preservation system includes an elongated one-piece deck board cap top cover for a deck board, adapted for a secure coupling to a top surface of the deck board to cover the top surface; a first cap side, with at least one first fin, integrally formed with the top cover and extended downwardly and adapted for a secure coupling to a board side of the deck board; a second cap side, with at least one second fin, integrally formed with the top cover and extended downwardly and adapted for a secure coupling to a board side of the deck board; wherein the first cap side and the second cap side are opposed to one another; and an inverted channel profile integrally formed and defined by the deck board top cover and first and second cap sides to cover and protect the deck board.
