Snorkel and diving mask system
A diving mask system is disclosed comprising a faceplate having a lateral partition on an interior surface delineating an upper and lower section, the lower section comprising a region that extends away from the upper section and includes at least one cutout opening fitted with a complementary-shaped flexible insert that enables a user to grasp the nose. The faceplate further includes a snorkel coupling having a passageway contained therein and conduits connecting the passageways with a lower chamber. The faceplate further includes a flexible tubular insert defining a passageway extending through the faceplate to the lower chamber. The tubular insert has a distal end dimensioned to fit and seal onto the mouthpiece receiver tube of a conventional second stage scuba regulator. The mask may be interchangeably configured for both scuba and snorkeling environments.
Underwater mask
An underwater mask includes a frame, a transparent portion supported by the frame, a seal portion mounted on the frame and adapted to be positioned on a user's face, and a ventilation tube. The seal portion has a partition wall resting on the user's nose and forming upper and lower chambers, which communicate through a passage in the partition wall and a one-way valve to enable air to flow only from the upper to the lower chamber. The ventilation tube has separate channels providing communication between the upper and respectively the lower chamber and the outer environment, and a hub between tube and mask, fastened to the mask and connected to the tube by a joint, so that in a coupling position the hub and the tube are fastened, and in a releasing position the hub and the tube remain connected but the tube is free to swing.
Diving masks
The disclosure relates to a diving mask, including: a mask having a breath cavity corresponding to a mouth and a nose of a user; a vent tube connected to the mask and provided with an inlet passage, the inlet passage communicating the breath cavity with external air; and an exhaust device communicating the breath cavity, the exhaust device including an exhaust fan configured to discharge air in the breath cavity into an external environment, thereby enabling the external air to flow into the breath cavity through the inlet passage.

Mask for surface snorkeling
A mask for surface snorkeling includes a rigid frame (2), a transparent visor (3), a soft face mask (4) sealingly applicable to the face of the user and having a membrane (7) which delimits an upper viewing chamber (8) being shaped to contain the eyes of the user and a lower breathing chamber (9) being shaped to contain the nose and the mouth of the user, and a breathing circuit (5) connected to the lower chamber (9), a ventilation circuit of the upper chamber (8) being further provided that is independent of and separated from the breathing circuit (5).
Snorkel with single valve assembly including integrated diaphragm and method thereof
The present invention provides a snorkel having smaller respiratory dead space or volume. The snorkel includes a mouthpiece and a tube with an inhalation lumen and an exhalation lumen. A distal one-way inhalation valve is placed inside the inhalation lumen; and a distal one-way exhalation valve is placed inside the exhalation lumen. The invention also provides a method for reducing the volume of a respiratory dead space in a snorkel.
DIVING MASK ENABLING PRESSURE EQUALISATION AT THE EARS
A diving mask comprising a body provided with a faceplate comprising an upper part, and a flexible skirt including a partition delimiting an upper chamber, for viewing, from a lower chamber, for breathing, the partition being arranged to be supported above the nose. The mask comprises a snorkel disposed in the extension of an upper part of the body. The body comprises a flexible and deformable main nasal part, the upper edge of which is secured in a sealed manner to the lower edge of the upper part of the faceplate. The main nasal part further comprises a main housing for receiving the nose and configured in such a way as to allow the pinching of the nose of the user.
Valve system for a breathing aid, mouthpiece system for a breathing aid, snorkling tube for a breathing aid, and breathing aid for swimmers
The invention relates to a valve system (10) for a breathing aid for swimmers, in particular for an inhalation valve, comprising a valve housing (1) and a valve diaphragm (2) in the valve housing (1); in a contact zone (3) preferably located in a central area of the valve diaphragm (2), the valve diaphragm (2) is disposed on a first end (4) of a fastening element (5); furthermore, from the contact zone (3), the valve diaphragm (2) runs at least partially at an angle in the direction of a second end (6) of the fastening element (5).
SNORKEL WITH SMALLER RESPIRATORY DEAD SPACE AND METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides a snorkel having smaller respiratory dead space or volume. The snorkel includes a mouthpiece and a tube with an inhalation lumen and an exhalation lumen. A distal one-way inhalation valve is placed inside the inhalation lumen; and a distal one-way exhalation valve is placed inside the exhalation lumen. The invention also provides a method for reducing the volume of a respiratory dead space in a snorkel.
