Monorail system
An aspect of the present disclosure is directed to a monorail system configured and arranged for displacing at least one maintenance device configured and arranged for machining substantially vertically extending surfaces. Another aspect is directed to a maintenance system consisting of at least one maintenance device which is displaceable on the monorail system.
GANTRY TOWER CRANE FOR INSPECTING CARGO HOLD
The present invention relates to a gantry tower crane for inspecting a cargo hold, comprising: two running rails which are installed to be spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the cargo hold; two prefabricated towers, each of which are installed to be able to move along respective running rails; and a basket which is installed to be able to move up and down along the prefabricated towers. Thus, as the basket installed in the prefabricated towers is installed to have a variable length and to be rotatable, it is possible to inspect both wall surfaces and a ceiling of the cargo hold, and to inspect the wall surfaces while moving along an overpass. Also, it is possible to obtain an effect of being able to perform inspection more precisely in a state where an operator comes closer to the wall surfaces by extending an auxiliary foothold of the overpass.
Devices, systems, and methods for aligning a boat skeleton to form a boat hull
Disclosed herein is an alignment system which is tractable by amateur boat builders and flat-packable for shipping, to assist such builders in assembling plate-based boat hulls free from hull skin warping, such system comprised of (a) longitudinal and transverse skeleton elements, such elements employing half-lap or similar joints and (b) an alignment jig comprised of a horizontal plate with intruded deep slots corresponding to the thickness and location of upper edges of the skeleton elements. The jig is set atop a planar surface (i.e., concrete floor or worktable), with the slots facing upwards. The skeleton elements are inverted, mated with each other at the half-lap joints, and inserted into the slots in the plate jig. The slots and the skeleton joints work together to maintain precise location and rotation of all skeleton elements, such that the edges of the freestanding skeleton present a developable arc for hull skin panel installation.
Bunk mounting systems and methods for watercraft lifts
A bunk mounting system for a watercraft lift comprising a first support defining first and second legs, a second support defining third and fourth legs, and first and second bunks. The bunk mounting system has first and second crossbeams, pivot connectors, and rail connectors. The pivot connectors pivotably connect the first crossbeam to the first and second legs and the second crossbeam to the third and fourth legs. The rail connectors detachably connect the first bunk to the first and second crossbeams and the second bunk to the first and second crossbeams.
Strike assembly type fixing device for shipyard
The present invention provides a strike assembly type fixing device for a shipyard, in which the lower end of a fixture is inserted into a fixing groove formed in a fixing plate and the upper end of the fixture is screwed to be coupled to a separate fastening element are fixed. The strike assembly type fixing device for a shipyard according to the present invention is configured such that a protruding flange inclined downward is integrally formed with a fixture to form a single body at a portion where an upper end and a lower end of a fixture are connected to each other, and a packing ring is provided to be inserted into the lower end of the fixture in close contact with the protruding flange.
Transport system
This invention relates to a transport system for moving at least one automated maintenance device for large substantially perpendicular surfaces, for example ship hulls, comprising a monorail system which can be laid freely and at least one drive device which can be moved on the monorail system along a movement direction. The at least one drive device has a drive unit with at least one running wheel, and the running wheel can be driven via at least one drive, preferably an electric drive. At least one pressing unit, is provided which is connected to the drive unit). The at least one pressing unit has at least one loading roller which can be pressed onto the monorail system via at least one spring element, and/or a fixing device is arranged on the drive unit, wherein a fixing roller is provided which interacts with the monorail system.

HAMMERING ASSEMBLY TYPE FIXING DEVICE FOR SHIPYARD
The present invention provides a hammering assembly type fixing device for a shipyard, in which the lower end of a fixture is inserted into a fixing groove formed in a fixing plate (made of a rigid bottom such as steel, concrete, rock, etc.) and the upper end of the fixture is screwed to be coupled to a separate fastening element, such that a grating, a work foothold, etc. are fixed. The hammering assembly type fixing device for a shipyard according to the present invention is configured such that a protruding flange inclined downward is integrally formed with a fixture to form a single body at a portion where an upper end and a lower end of a fixture are connected to each other, and a packing ring is provided to be inserted into the lower end of the fixture in close contact with the protruding flange. As such, as the fixture is fixed to the fixing plate by the pressing from the hammering, the hammering assembly type fixing device has the characteristics of being resistant to lateral forces and preventing breakage of the lower end due to a primary fixing by the lower end and a secondary fixing by the protruding flange. Further, the pressing force of the protruding flange of a downwardly inclined structure, and the improved sealing property by the packing ring, and the excellent foreign substance blocking effect are obtained. Moreover, the manufacturing process of the fixture is simplified, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost. Especially, the hammering assembly type fixing device for a shipyard is applied to fix a grating installed in a shipyard, so that even in high salt conditions due to the inflow of seawater through various routes in shipbuilding processes, the fixing force of the fixture with respect to the fixing plate is maximized and the airtightness by the packing ring is improved, thereby preventing the occurrence of fine gaps between the fixing plate and the fixture. Therefore, the penetration of salt is blocked, thereby preventing the corrosion of the fixture and improving durability of the fixture.
METHOD FOR INSTALLING GANTRY TOWER CRANE FOR USE IN CARGO TANK CHECKING
A method for installing a gantry tower crane for use in cargo tank checking is provided. By using this method, a tower crane can be installed rapidly since tower units are lowered when assembling the tower units, the time required to install two prefabricated towers can be reduced, and all zones of the cargo tanks can be checked as baskets, and pedestrian overpasses can be installed.
