Tethered floatation device and retrieval system
11535352 · 2022-12-27 ·

A device for retrieving a stranded or drowning person can attach to a boat cleat and be used to draw the stranded person towards the boat. The device has a floatation portion that is thrown to the stranded person. The floatation portion has multiple latches for different sized persons. A winch portion pivots about a cleat adaptor, which attaches to the horns of a boat cleat using an aperture and a locking pin. The winch portion receives the cord that is attached to the floatation portion. An optional ice foot mates to the cleat adapter for retrieving a person who has fallen through ice.

A marine emergency rescue transfer system includes a water navigation robot. An attracting device configured to attach and fix with an accident ship is installed on one side of the water navigation robot. An automatic lifting device is installed on the water navigation robot. A fixing sealing device is installed on the automatic lifting device. The automatic lifting device is installed on the automatic lifting device. The fixing sealing device includes a box body and a vacuum pump. The box body defines a cavity. The vacuum pump is configured to pump air or water in the cavity, so the box body is fixed on the accident ship through atmospheric pressure or water pressure. The rescue devices are placed in the fixing sealing device. The remote control grippers are installed on the automatic lifting device. The remote control grippers are configured to grip the rescue devices for transfer operation.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LOWERING A USER FROM AN ELEVATED POSITION
20220362592 · 2022-11-17 ·

A system for lowering a user from an elevated position is described. The system includes a fall-arresting device operable to arrest a fall of a user attached to the fall-arresting device, a harness for wearing by the user, and a separable connector for attaching the harness to the fall-arresting device. The separable connector is configured to separate in response to a minimum load of about 0.66 kN acting on the separable connector and thereby disconnect the harness from the fall-arresting device.

PERSON OVERBOARD RETRIEVL APPARATUS

A deployable conscious or unconscious person-in-the-water rescue apparatus that can be manually or automatically deployed multiple and consecutive times to assist both a rescuer and a person-in-the-water by providing a tethered net that self-deploys in the water and supports the person-in-the-water while being pulled to safety.
