Front facing rowing boat
An apparatus for a boat includes a lower rail, a seat support slidably mounted to the lower rail, an upper set of rails connected to the seat support with at least one rail support supporting each upper rail in the upper set of rails, and two paddle holders, each paddle holder slidably mounted to one of the upper rails in the upper set of rails. The paddle holders pivot relative to the upper rails, such that when paddles are attached, the paddles holders are capable of lowering and raising the paddles in and out of the water.

Paddleboard kit
The invention involves a paddleboard kit for converting any water sports board such as a surfboard into a paddleboard. An oar support assembly, typically secures oars with pivotal paddles to the board; facilitating rowing exercises that may be practiced while kneeling or standing. During use, the pivotable paddles pivot in such a way that the blade portion holds a steady position in relation to a shaft portion on the power stroke, whilst being free to fold in the opposite sense on the idle stroke when each stroke is executed as a substantially axial thrust of the shaft. The oar support assembly secures the pair of oars and is itself secured to the board by way of board couplers adjustably coupled to a portion of a strap that tightens to snuggly wrap around the board.
Tri-hull fishing kayak with elevated seat and foot-operated paddles
A tri-hull fishing kayak includes a platform, an elevated seat, a foot operated paddle, and a triple hull including two side pontoons and one forward central pontoon having a front portion and a rear portion. The front portion, extending centrally from the platform, provides enhanced longitudinal stability. The two side pontoons are of a width and separation to provide enhanced lateral stability. The tri-hull fishing kayak reduces the need to frequently re-position the kayak when there is wind and/or current, thereby minimizing interruptions to fishing. The elevated seat is ergonomic for long-term sitting, and is high enough above the water to facilitate effective pitching and casting underhand, and to permit a steeper viewing angle into the water, thereby making sight fishing easier. The foot-operated paddle can be used to precisely steer the kayak, and therefore frees up the user's hands for fishing. Further, the platform enables fishing while standing.
Hand paddle
A hand paddle. The hand paddle includes a stem having a handle and a blade, which is attached to the stem on either side of the handle. The handle may be attached for operating gentle, yet strenuous, water sports.

Reversing gear drive
The present disclosure is directed to a gear system/reversing gearbox that allows reversing the direction of pivotal rotation between first and second shafts (i.e., about a pivot axis transverse to long axis of the shafts) while also translating at least some axial rotation between the shafts. In one exemplary application, the gear system is utilized in forward rowing system that allows a rowing motion substantially identical to a rearward rowing system.
