HUBLESS PROPULSION UNIT
The propulsion unit including a casing having an inner curved surface and an outer curved surface, at least one tire disposed within the casing within a duct defined by the inner curved surface and the outer curved surface, a first propeller and a second propeller having a plurality of blades extending from within the casing toward a center axis of the casing, and one or more motors housed within the casing, the one or motor being configured to operate the at least one tire, the first propeller, and the second propeller independently of one another. There is also provided a vehicle with one or more propulsion units of the present disclosure.
Fluid machine
A fluid machine includes: a shaft portion; a shroud surrounding the shaft portion and including an inside surface that forms a flow path-forming surface defining a flow path with the shaft portion; a first propeller rotatably provided in the flow path; a second propeller rotatably provided on a downstream side of the first propeller in the flow path; and a motor including a rotor that is fixed to an outer circumferential portion of the second propeller and that is accommodated in the shroud, and a stator that surrounds the rotor via a clearance and that is fixed in the shroud. A portion of the flow path-forming surface on a downstream side of the second propeller decreases in diameter toward the downstream side, and the shroud includes an inlet flow path that is open at a portion between the first propeller and the second propeller of the flow path-forming surface.
FLUID MACHINE
A fluid machine includes: a shaft portion; a shroud surrounding the shaft portion and including an inside surface that forms a flow path-forming surface defining a flow path with the shaft portion; a first propeller rotatably provided in the flow path; a second propeller rotatably provided on a downstream side of the first propeller in the flow path; and a motor including a rotor that is fixed to an outer circumferential portion of the second propeller and that is accommodated in the shroud, and a stator that surrounds the rotor via a clearance and that is fixed in the shroud. A portion of the flow path-forming surface on a downstream side of the second propeller decreases in diameter toward the downstream side, and the shroud includes an inlet flow path that is open at a portion between the first propeller and the second propeller of the flow path-forming surface.
Water Sports Device
A water sports device is provided, and includes at least one propulsion device which has at least one motor. The motor can be controlled by a control unit and is provided for propelling the water sports device. The parts of the propulsion device are arranged on sides of the foil and/or retaining device or—if separate connection elements are arranged between these two devices—between these two devices, and can be moved with the foil device from a starting and/or resting position into the operating position and back. In order to propel or pull the water sports device, the device has its own propulsion device. This is part of the retaining and/or foil device, which can move relative to the floating body, in that at least one propulsion element in the form of a propeller or impeller accelerating water against the principal direction of movement is moved with the respective device (retaining and/or foil device).
Underwater Motor Module For A Water Sports Device
An underwater motor module for a water sports device is provided, which forms at least one flow channel each having at least one inlet opening and an outlet opening. The underwater motor module has a motor which is in the form of an internal rotor motor and comprises a hollow rotor, which concomitantly forms the flow channel by way of its inner side. On the outer side of the motor directed away from the flow channel is mounted outside the flow channel, and which bears blades. The motor also comprises an external stator arranged in a housing.
HIGH EFFICIENCY ROTATING EQUIPMENT HAVING CONTRA-ROTATING PROPELLER
The present invention relates to rotating equipment, and more specifically, to high efficiency rotating equipment which generates thrust through contra-rotating or produces electricity. The rotating equipment includes: a plurality of propeller modules (10, 20) including a plurality of blades (11, 21) installed inside along a circumferential direction; and a rotary module (40) which rotates the plurality of propeller modules (10, 20) or is rotated.
Cathedral body structure for an ocean bottom seismic node
Disclosed is an ocean bottom seismic node for recording seismic signals on the seabed. The ocean bottom seismic node may comprise an arched cathedral buoyant body coupled to a substantially flat bottom metal plate. The buoyant body may be formed of hard plastic (such as plastic injection in a mold) and have one or more cathedral type inner structures with columns that form a plurality of interconnected inner chambers, which may be dry or filled with foam and/or act as ballasts. One or more electronic components may be directly attached to the bottom metal plate (and within one or more of the internal cathedral chambers) and covered/protected by the buoyant body that is water and pressure resistant at seabed depths. The edge(s) of the buoyant body may seal around the metal plate on one or more peripheral edges of the plate and buoyant body.

A propulsion system for a vessel includes an engine propulsion unit that provides a propulsive force to a hull by using an engine as a power source, an electric propulsion unit that provides a propulsive force to the hull by using an electric motor as a power source, a storing mechanism that is displaced from an actuating position to actuate the electric propulsion unit to a storing position to store the electric propulsion unit and performs a storing operation to store the electric propulsion unit, and an interlock controller that interlocks a storing operation of the storing mechanism with generation of a propulsive force by the engine propulsion unit.
