ABNORMALITY WARNING SYSTEM AND WARNING LEVEL SETTING METHOD
An abnormality warning system provides an abnormality warning for multiple motor systems that drive a motor used correspondingly to each of multiple rotors included in an electric aircraft. The abnormality warning system includes an abnormality determination unit and a warning level setting unit. The abnormality determination unit determines an abnormal one of the motor systems. The warning level setting unit sets a warning level to warn abnormality, based on at least position information of the rotor in the electric aircraft or the usage of the rotor corresponding to a motor system determined to be abnormal by the abnormality determination unit.
Unmanned aerial vehicle for positioning against a wall
Disclosed is an unmanned aerial vehicle adapted to be positioned against a substantially vertical wall while hovering in the air, including a body and rotors, an arm end, a first leg end and a second leg end intersected by a front plane and adapted for together contacting the wall at three spaced apart positions, the front plane intersecting a vertical axis of the UAV at an upper side of a first plane spanned by a lateral and longitudinal axis of the UAV, the front plane extending at a first angle of between 45 to 85 degrees to the first plane; wherein the UAV is adapted for tilting upon contact of the first and second leg ends with the wall while the arm end approaches the wall, about the first and second leg ends and towards the wall, until the arm end contacts the wall.
MULTICOPTER
A multicopter includes: a support; rotors supported by the support; an electrical equipment that supplies power for rotationally driving the rotors; a circuitly that controls a flight of an airframe by individually adjusting a rotor speed of each of the rotors; and a cooling unit that cools the electrical equipment. The cooling unit includes a heat exchanger, a refrigerant circulating through the heat exchanger and the electrical equipment, and a pump that circulates the refrigerant.

Aircraft propulsion system
Technology for operating an engine smoothly is provided. In an aircraft propulsion system, a controller causes at least a first engine among the plurality of engines to be stopped and causes a second engine, which has not been stopped, to be operated when an aircraft is flying in a prescribed flight mode and causes the first engine to be operated and causes the second engine to be stopped when a detector detects that the temperature related to the first engine is less than or equal to a first prescribed temperature.
CLEAN FUEL ELECTRIC MULTIROTOR AIRCRAFT FOR PERSONAL AIR TRANSPORTATION AND MANNED OR UNMANNED OPERATION
Methods and systems for a full-scale vertical takeoff and landing manned or unmanned aircraft, having an all-electric, low-emission or zero-emission lift and propulsion system, an integrated ‘highway in the sky’ avionics system for navigation and guidance, a tablet-based motion command, or mission planning system to provide the operator with drive-by-wire style direction control, and automatic on-board-capability to provide traffic awareness, weather display and collision avoidance. Automatic computer monitoring by a programmed triple-redundant digital autopilot computer controls each motor-controller and motor to produce pitch, bank, yaw and elevation, while simultaneously restricting the flight regime that the pilot can command, to protect the pilot from inadvertent potentially harmful acts that might lead to loss of control or loss of vehicle stability. By using the results of the state measurements to inform motor control commands, the methods and systems contribute to the operational simplicity, reliability and safety of the vehicle.
