Static aircraft seat privacy panels

A static aircraft seat privacy panel may include a body. At least a portion of a surface of the body may be shaped to at least partially conform with at least a portion of an aircraft seat. A lower edge of the body may be configured to couple to a floor via a set of floor-mounted components. The set of floor-mounted components may be within the floor separate from a set of seat tracks of an aircraft seat compliant with 16G force requirements for aviation transport. An upper edge of the body may be configured to be offset a selected distance from a surface of one or more overhead structures of the aircraft cabin when the body is coupled to one or more structures positioned proximate to a ceiling of the aircraft cabin. The static aircraft seat privacy panel may be compliant with 9G force requirements for aviation transport.

A passenger seat (10) with a sitting area (40), a side ottoman (42), an open space (44) that may be enclosed via use of a bed extension (50), and a backrest (14). The backrest may be divided into an upper portion and a lower portion. The seat may also be provided with one or more storage areas and/or a side console.

An aircraft seat for an aircraft passenger compartment suite is disclosed. In embodiments, the aircraft seat includes a primary section including a primary seatback portion and a primary seat base portion, and an auxiliary section including an auxiliary seatback portion and an auxiliary seat base portion. In embodiments, the aircraft seat may further include an actuatable element configured to actuate between an open position and a closed position. The actuatable element may include a first surface which defines at least a portion of the auxiliary seatback portion when the actuatable element is in the closed position, and a second surface which defines a surface of an armrest when the actuatable element is in the open position.

The auxiliary aircraft accessory may be positioned within the space proximate to the aircraft seat when coupled to the at least one mount point of the body via the at least one mount bracket.

Seat usage prevention device

A seat usage prevention device is disclosed. The seat usage prevention deice includes at least one device component being configured to interact with one or more seat components of a first seat. The device component is configured to prevent usage of at least one of a seat pan or seatback of the first seat. The device component further separates a second seat from at least a third seat, wherein the third seat is proximate to at least one of the first seat or the second seat. The seat usage prevention device may include a device component that further includes a cushion, a base, an amenity console, or a vertical separator, or combination thereof.

Described are consoles for use in a passenger seat row. The console may include a base of a support material. The base may include a top surface, a first side wall, and a second side wall opposite the first side wall. A tray may be configured to be releasably affixed to the top surface of the base. The tray be manufactured as a piece of molded plastic. The molded plastic may be molded to include one or more storage compartments. A bottom of the molded plastic may be configured to fittingly mate with the top surface of the base. The base may further include one or more straps configured to secure the base to a passenger seat cushion, passenger seat support structure, or a passenger seat restrain system. The one or more storage compartments may be a cupholder.

Foldable Vehicle Seat

A foldable vehicle seat includes a seat base having a seat support frame, a seat back extending from the seat base, and a foldable section connected to the seat back. The folded section has a folded and unfolded configuration, and comprises a hinge mechanism with a pivot point, a first support, a second support, and a top surface configured to store luggage thereon. The first support is connected to the hinge mechanism and is rotatable about the pivot point. Likewise, the second support is connected to the hinge mechanism and is rotatable about the pivot point. The first and second supports contain first and second magnets, respectively, which are configured to retain the foldable section in the folded configuration.

The aircraft interior structure may include a bassinet cavity defined within the passenger seating section proximate to the seat extension cavity. The bassinet cavity may be configured to receive a bassinet via an opening in the surface of the aircraft interior structure within the passenger compartment. The bassinet cavity and the bassinet may be accessible from the passenger compartment via the opening in the surface of the aircraft interior structure. The bassinet may be positioned in the bassinet cavity at a location selected to provide an unobstructed line of sight between the aircraft seat and an interior of the bassinet.
