Aircraft passenger seat oxygen system
An onboard oxygen system for aircraft includes an oxygen source, a regulator connected to the oxygen source, and an oxygen mask connected to the regulator. The oxygen source is stored in a cavity in a passenger seat armrest. The oxygen mask is stored in a mask storage compartment attached to the armrest. The oxygen mask is deployed for use through an opening in the mask storage compartment.
SYSTEM FOR SECURING AN AIRCRAFT DOOR
Systems and methods for securing an emergency exit door on an armrest of a seat are provided. A system includes a latch connected to an armrest of a seat of a vehicle. The latch is moveable relative to the armrest between a stowed position and a deployed position. The latch is structured and arranged to engage an edge of a door that is associated with an exit of the vehicle to hold the door on the armrest.
LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEM
Disclosed is a lighting control system of a vehicle seat switch. The lighting control system includes a movable object mounted to be rotatable with respect to a stationary object, a switch mounted on the movable object and configured to emit light, a position recognizer installed in the switch to sense position information of the switch, and a controller configured to receive the position information and to adjust an intensity of light emitted by the switch based on the position information.
Rotating armrest assembly
An armrest assembly for a passenger seat includes a moveable arm including a proximal end and a distal end, a stowed configuration wherein the moveable arm is disposed adjacent and approximately parallel to a seatback of the passenger seat, and a deployed configuration wherein the moveable arm is approximately parallel to a seat pan of the passenger seat. The moveable arm may include a first portion and a second portion. The armrest assembly may include a first rotation axis such that the moveable arm pivots about the first rotation axis when moving between the stowed configuration and the deployed configuration. The armrest assembly may include a second rotation axis such that the second portion pivots about the second rotation axis relative to the first portion.
HINGE
A hinge having a center element, a first leaf element articulated on the center element and rotatable about a first axis, and a second leaf element articulated on the center element and rotatable about a second axis. The leaf elements have mounting elements for a leaf. The hinge has a mounting member to fasten the center element to an air passenger seat. In the mounted state of the hinge on the air passenger seat and in the arranged state of the leaves, the leaves are present such that they can be moved relative to the remaining air passenger seat. The first and the second axes are present on the hinge so as to extend in a bearing plane and so as to be spaced apart from one another.
PASSENGER SEAT ARMREST WITH A MULTI-ZONE TOP SURFACE
An armrest for a passenger seat has a forward end, an aft end opposite from the forward end, and a top surface extending from the forward end to the aft end. The top surface includes a first zone and a second zone, and a curvature of the first zone of the top surface is different from a curvature of the second zone of the top surface. In some examples, at least one of the first zone or the second zone has a concave curvature.
Pinch point free rotatable aircraft armrest
An armrest assembly for seats on an aircraft includes a mount bracket and a leaf that is movable relative to the mount bracket. A hinge pin interacts with at least a portion of the mount bracket and the leaf. The leaf rotates about the hinge pin to raise and lower the armrest assembly.
Reversible seat assembly
A reversible seat assembly for use with an airplane. The reversible seat comprises a base assembly and a vertical assembly. The base assembly and the vertical assembly are connected to a support structure and are collectively disposable into and out of a first travel position, a second travel position, and a third travel position. In the first and second travel positions a user or passenger may assume a usual sitting position. In the third travel position the user may assume a reverse sitting position. The base assembly comprises a right segment and a left segment connected and rotationally movable to a central segment. The vertical assembly comprises a lower segment and an upper segment connected to and rotationally movable a middle segment. The reversible seat assembly may further comprise a back armrest connected to an opposite side of said middle segment and structure to provide support to the arms of the user.
AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT DEVICE
An aircraft passenger seat device is proposed, comprising an aircraft seat row, comprising a mounting unit, at least three neighboring seat areas, wherein in the two outer seat areas an aircraft seat with a seat bottom and a backrest is mounted to the mounting unit, and wherein in the middle seat area a backrest base body is mounted to the mounting unit, wherein in at least one operating state a detachable center console is detachably mounted to the mounting unit in the middle seat area forming a separation between the two outer seats and wherein the backrest base body has at least one functional element on its rear side provided for the use by a passenger sitting behind.
