Interlinked plinth attachment system for aircraft seats
A plinth attachment system for attachment to at least one track includes: a first plate having a first side configured for mounting to a longitudinally extending track, and a first mounting feature for mounting a first structure; and a second plate having a first side configured for mounting to the track, and a second mounting feature for mounting a second structure. When mounted on the track, at least one interlinking feature of the first side of the first plate and at least one interlinking feature of the first side of the second plate interlock at the track, and, the first mounting feature and second mounting feature are aligned at essentially equivalent longitudinal positions.
Ventilated seat assembly with active air flow
A ventilated seat assembly with active air circulation including a structural frame element, a cushion assembly supported by the structural frame element, a perforated dress cover, a conduit network embedded in the cushion assembly configured to direct air to at least one target region of the cushion assembly, an air mover coupled in fluid communication with the conduit network, and a controller operable for activating the air mover to cause air to flow through the conduit network to the at least one target region. In operation, the controller activates the air mover to flow air, such as unconditioned air, through the conduit network to be released through the dress cover in the at least one target region.
AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT DEVICE
An aircraft passenger seat device is proposed, comprising an aircraft seat row, comprising a mounting unit, at least three neighboring seat areas, wherein in the two outer seat areas an aircraft seat with a seat bottom and a backrest is mounted to the mounting unit, and wherein in the middle seat area a backrest base body is mounted to the mounting unit, wherein in at least one operating state a detachable center console is detachably mounted to the mounting unit in the middle seat area forming a separation between the two outer seats and wherein the backrest base body has at least one functional element on its rear side provided for the use by a passenger sitting behind.
Kit of parts for assembling an aircraft seat unit
The invention provides a kit of parts for assembling an aircraft seat unit, comprising a frame with a slot, a panel for forming a shell of the aircraft seat unit and defining a footprint of the aircraft seat unit, having a first end and a second opposite end, the first end configured to be slid in and out of the frame slot to provide a variable dimension from the frame to second opposite end of the panel, and a fixing mechanism for fixing the panel within the frame slot, in a configuration providing a desired value of aircraft seat unit variable dimension. The invention also provides a plurality of such kits of parts, an aircraft seat unit and an aircraft cabin comprising a plurality of such aircraft seat units or made from such kit of parts, and methods of installing an aircraft seat unit.
SPREADER WITH OPEN SLOT FOR PASSENGER SEAT
A passenger seat includes a spreader with one or more open slot. The slot may be positioned on a lateral side of the spreader and may receive a portion of a seat base of the passenger seat within the slot. In some aspects, the slot may be elongated, and an insertion opening for the slot is provided in a top side of the spreader.
Aircraft seating systems
A method and apparatus comprising a plurality of seating systems and a frame for use in a passenger aircraft. A first seating system in the plurality of seating systems may have different dimensions from a second seating system in the plurality of seating systems. A frame may be configured to be connected to the plurality of seating systems.
Partition element for an aircraft cabin and cabin arrangement
A aircraft cabin partition element and aircraft cabin arrangement, with a wall member having a lower edge and extending upwards from the lower edge provided with a coupling, capable of slidingly engaging a guide rail arrangement, an upper panel member pivotably mounted on the wall member with respect to a horizontal axis which is spaced from the lower edge, the upper panel member pivotable between a first position where the upper panel member extends from the horizontal axis towards the lower edge parallel to the wall member, and a second position where the upper panel member extends away from the wall member, and a support member movably mounted on the wall member and movable between a support position supporting the upper panel member when in the second position to prevent pivoting towards the wall member to the first position, and a storage position extending parallel to the wall member.
Flexibly adjustable passenger seat device for a vehicle cabin
A passenger seat device for a vehicle cabin comprises a front end and a rear end, a backrest arranged at the rear end, a plurality of seat surface segments extending from the rear end to the front end and a seat frame for carrying the seat surface segments and the backrest. The seat surface segments are arranged in a side-by-side relationship and constitute a seat surface and the seat surface segments are individually adjustable between at least two different vertical positions relative to the seat frame. The passenger seat device may flexibly seat passengers with different constitutions.
SEAT SYSTEM HAVING A CANTED LEG ASSEMBLY
A seat system for a passenger aircraft. The seat system includes a passenger seat frame (i) a plurality of spreader bars and (ii) a plurality of laterally extending spar tubes connecting the plurality of spreader bars to one another and at least one canted leg assembly connected to the seat frame for attachment to fixed, spaced apart attachment points on a supporting surface of the passenger aircraft. The canted leg assembly includes: (i) a front leg portion including a front joint clamp for receiving one of the plurality of laterally extending spar tubes in a non-perpendicular attachment point; and (ii) an aft leg portion including an aft joint clamp for receiving another one of the plurality of laterally extending spar tubes in a non-perpendicular attachment point, whereby the seat system is adapted to be laterally positioned and attached to provide different spaced apart passenger seating configurations.
