Gravity force absorber for use in certain parachute and other systems
A shock absorber assembly, particularly for attenuating shocks transmitted to a person's body, especially to reduce shock to a paratrooper's body during a tethered cargo tandem jump. Specialized elastic absorber units are disposed between two connectors, such as carabiners, with a connector secured to a respective end of each absorber unit. Each absorber unit has a rupture length corresponding to its length when it is stretched to its maximum immediately before rupturing under tensile loading. A limiter strap also is secured between the connectors, with a connector on each end of the limiter strap. The limiter strap prevents the absorber units from breaking by preventing their stretch to their breaking point. A flap or bands are provided for temporarily maintaining the limiter strap folded in a compact bale until needed. In use, the complete shock absorber assembly is deployed between a cargo tether and a cargo harness.

POWERED PARAGLIDING HARNESS
A powered paragliding harness includes a harness with a pilot's back rest and an engine mount carrying a power unit with propeller. The back rest and engine mount are connected via at least first and second levers. Hinged connections connect one end of each to the back rest and the other end to the engine mount. The first lever is shorter than the second. In the harness operational state, the first lever is above the second. The levers enable the transition between an upright position, where the back rest—propeller angle is small, especially back rest and propeller are or close to parallel, for an upright pilot position during take-off/landing, and a reclined position, where the back rest—propeller angle is larger, for a reclined pilot position. The second lever—engine mount connection is nearer to the power unit center of gravity than the first lever—engine mount connection.
PARACHUTE RISER CRADLE
A suspension line assembly for a parachute assembly, comprising a plurality of suspension lines bound together at a confluence, a first riser extending between the confluence and a first attachment location disposed on a first strap, a second riser extending between the confluence and a second attachment location disposed on a second strap and a cradle disposed between the first riser and the second riser.
Gravity Force Absorber Systems
A shock absorber assembly, particularly for attenuating shocks transmitted to a person's body, especially to reduce shock to a paratrooper's body during a tethered cargo tandem jump. Specialized elastic absorber units are disposed in series in connection with a tether or strap to maintain the series configuration. A chain reactive shock absorption can be predetermined, and adjusted based on the expected shock(s) of a given jump. The adjustment is accomplished by selecting the number and type of absorber unit(s) provided an any of two (or more) series chains of the assembly. In use, the complete shock absorber assembly is deployed between a cargo tether and a cargo harness.

Buckle-up aid for parachutist
The invention lies in the field of skydiving and relates to a securing aid (100) for parachutists (20), which has a leg strap connector (101) and a connection element (102) for securing a parachutist (20) in an airplane (104) during the flight preceding the parachute jump. The securing aid (100) is connected or connectable, for example, to the leg strap (13) of a parachute system (10). The securing aid (100) according to the invention thus contributes to increasing the safety of parachutists (20) during the flight preceding the parachute jump.
