Electric Aircraft
An electric aircraft includes a forward wing and an aft wing both located on a top side of a fuselage and both having an upward dihedral angle. The forward wing has a straight or slightly forward-swept leading edge. The aft wing has a swept leading edge. A plurality of propeller engines are located on a leading-edge side of the forward wing. A single propeller engine may be located on a top side of an aft end of the fuselage; alternatively, a plurality of propeller engines are located on the aft wing on either its leading or trailing edge. The propeller engines are each powered by an electric motor. An unobstructed cargo door is located on a side of the fuselage, aft of the forward wing.
PROPULSOR FAN ARRAY
A propulsor fan array having reduced noise emission is disclosed. The propulsor fan array includes a plurality of propulsor fans that collectively generate thrust. Each of the propulsor fans include a blade fan having a plurality of blades. The plurality of blades are tensioned at tips of the plurality of blade fans such that a pitch of the blades during thrust generation is substantially the same as a pitch of the blades at rest. By tensioning the tips of the blades, an angle of the blades is maintained during operation of the propulsor fan thereby reducing noise that may result from changes in the angle of the blades.
PROPULSOR FAN ARRAY
A propulsor fan array having reduced noise emission is disclosed. The propulsor fan array includes a plurality of propulsor fans that collectively generate thrust. ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT
An electric aircraft includes a fuselage, at least one rotor, at least one coupling structure, at least one electric motor, a battery and wirings. The at least one coupling structure couples the at least one rotor to the fuselage. The at least one electric motor is for rotating the at least one rotor. The battery is attached to the fuselage. The battery is for supplying current to the at least one electric motor. The wirings electrically couples the battery to the at least one electric motor. At least a part of the wirings includes rigid conductors. At least a part of the at least one coupling structure includes the rigid conductors. At least a part of a load on the fuselage from the at least one rotor is received with the rigid conductors.

A propulsor fan and drive system having reduced noise emission is disclosed. The propulsor fan includes a blade fan having a plurality of blades. The blade fan is tensioned at the tips of the plurality of blades. PROPULSION SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
An aircraft propulsion system having a variable airflow capture area is provided. The propulsion system includes a main propulsion source and an auxiliary propulsion source. In a first mode, the auxiliary propulsion source is stowed within an aerodynamic profile of the aircraft, and the main propulsion source provides all of the propulsion force for powering flight of the aircraft. In a second mode, the auxiliary propulsion source is deployed to augment the airflow capture area of the main propulsion source and increase an overall airflow capture area of the propulsion system. In the second mode, the auxiliary power source is operated by power extracted from the main propulsion source. The main propulsion source may include one or more low bypass ratio engines. The auxiliary power source may include one or more auxiliary thrust fans coupled at a plurality of locations on the aircraft.
PROPULSION SYSTEMS AND VEHICLES USING THE SAME
A peripheral propulsion system having a propulsion unit, an upper section, and a lower section. The propulsion unit has a motor, a motor engagement section, an extension coupled to the motor engagement section, and two or more blades coupled to the extension. The extension is located between the upper section and the lower section. The output section is located about at least a portion of the lower section, and the two or more blades are located outside a periphery of the vehicle. When the motor is running, the two or more blades are capable of drawing fluid from about the periphery of the vehicle and through the output section.
AIRCRAFT
An aircraft including a fuselage with a cooling unit including a first radiator, a second radiator, a first cooling fan and a second cooling fan for taking air outside the fuselage into the fuselage and supplying air to the first radiator and the second radiator. The aircraft has an exhaust orifice for discharging air delivered into the interior of the fuselage, the cooling unit is arranged forward of the engine in the fuselage, and the exhaust orifice is positioned rearward of the engine in the fuselage.
