A system for exploiting a transmitted signal from an aircraft or drone to determine parameters of the aircraft or drone's motion. The system includes at least one antenna for receiving the transmitted signal from the aircraft, and an analysis system for analyzing the transmitted signal as compared with stored characteristic anomalies associated with any of the aircraft or drone, and the at least one antenna, for confirming parameters of the aircraft or drone's motion.
AERIAL MARINE DRONE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A marine drone system utilizing an unmanned aerial vehicle to provide visual feedback for conditions including temperature, depth, and conditions which may suggest favorable fishing conditions, such as weed lines, flotsam, breaks, and objects, such as birds or fish. The system utilizes a plurality of sensors, including, but not limited to, cameras, laser, GPS, radar, and LIDAR. The visual feedback may be shown as a video fees or a map, wherein the feedback is shown as a visual backgrounds, wherein an overlay of interactive functions provides information regarding the conditions. The system also includes method steps for implementing, obtaining, and displaying the information. The system hardware includes the unmanned aerial vehicle, a base station, and a hardwired tether between the unmanned aerial vehicle and the base station providing power and bi-directional data transfer.
Surround view by drones
An apparatus includes a visual display to be viewed by a vehicle occupant. At least one drone includes a camera. A controller is configured to receive images from the camera on the at least one drone and generate an overhead view of the vehicle based on the images received from the at least one drone and display the overhead view on the visual display.
Airship construction and method where a harness-structure is fastened around a hull
A lighter than air airship (1) comprising a gas-filled flexible hull (2) which is elongate with a longitudinal axis (1′) and with a front end (4) and a rear end (5), wherein a harness-structure (3) is abutting an outer side of the hull (2) and not perturbing the hull and not extending through the hull, the harness-structure (3) is made of a bendable material and carries a propeller engine (10) for forward thrust of the airship (1), rechargeable batteries (11) for providing electrical power to the propeller engine (10), and a solar panel for providing electrical power to recharge the batteries (11).
Altitude based device management in a wireless communications system
Altitude based device management is provided herein. A method can comprise transmitting, by a mobile device comprising a processor, a signaling message to a network device of a wireless network. The signaling message can comprise first data indicating a device type of the mobile device and second data indicating a distance measurement of the mobile device with respect to a reference point. The method can also comprise implementing, by the mobile device, a first instruction related to a power setting and a second instruction related to an operating parameter. The first instruction and the second instruction can be received from the network device and can be based on the device type of the mobile device and the distance measurement of the mobile device.
Infrastructure-free tracking and response
Methods and systems for localization within an environment include determining a topology estimate of nodes located in a dynamic indoor environment, based on distances measured between the nodes. Rigid k-core sub-graphs of the topology estimate are generated to determine relative localizations of the nodes. Relative localizations are transformed into absolute localizations to generate a map of positions of the nodes within the environment. A feature of the map is deployed to a device in the environment.
Autonomous home security devices
An aerial vehicle is programmed or configured to respond to reports of events or conditions within spaces of a facility. The aerial vehicle travels to a location of a reported event or condition and captures data using onboard sensors. The aerial vehicle independently determines whether the reported event or condition is occurring, or is otherwise properly addressed by resources that are available at the location, using images or other data captured by the onboard sensors. Alternatively, the aerial vehicle transmits a request for additional resources to be provided at the location, where necessary. A map of the location generated based on images or other data captured by the onboard sensors may be utilized for any purpose, such as to make one or more recommendations of products that are appropriate for use at the facility.
Drone Assisted Mesh Network For First Responders
A flock of drones provide a drone-assisted mesh network for first responders. Network modules attached to the drones interconnect with other network modules and provide network access points for first responder devices, allowing the first responder devices to communicate with each other via the drone-assisted mesh network. The drones may autonomously reposition themselves to create a desired network coverages area, including adjusting the network coverage area as instructed via a drone controller. The network modules may communicate with a gateway to an external network, allowing first responder devices to communicate with the external network via the drone-assisted mesh network. Network modules may be selected for field-attachment to the drones based on characteristics of the first responder devices.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING A WIRELESS CONNECTION USING A SELF-POSITIONABLE WIRELESS DEVICE
A system and method for a providing a dynamic backhaul. In one example, the system includes a self-positionable wireless device (for example, a drone) including a dual-band radio configured to establish a wireless connection between the self-positionable wireless device and a wireless system. The dual-band radio initiates a narrowband wireless link with the wireless system via a first narrowband antenna of the self-positionable wireless device and a second narrowband antenna of the wireless system. A navigation system generates location, velocity and error estimate of the self-positionable wireless device. The location is transmitted to the wireless system using the narrowband wireless link. The self-positionable wireless device receives via the narrowband wireless link location, velocity and error estimate of the wireless system. The self-positionable wireless device establishes a directional broadband wireless link with the wireless system using the location, velocity and error estimate of the self-positionable wireless system and the wireless system.
Unmanned aerial system communication duplicate registration ID detection and recovery
Systems, apparatuses, and method may provide unmanned aerial system communication. A method performed by at least one processor included in an unmanned aerial system (UAS) includes: transmitting, to a UAS Service Supplier (USS) implemented on at least one server, a first registration request to register a first remote identification (RID) corresponding to the UAS with the USS; receiving, from the USS, an indication that the first RID is a duplicate RID that is registered with the USS; determining, based on the first RID, a second RID corresponding to the UAS; and transmitting, to the USS, a second registration request to register the second RID.
