CRANE, CRANE BODY, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A crane includes a crane body, a flying body, a route information acquisition unit that acquires route information in transporting a suspended load of the crane body via the flying body, and a support unit that performs steering support for performing a transport operation of the crane body along a movement route indicated by the route information.
AERIAL LAWNMOWER
An aerial lawnmower, including a main body, a mower assembly disposed on at least a portion of a first end of the main body to cut at least one vegetation in response to rotating, and a plurality of rotors disposed on at least a portion of a second end of the main body to perform at least one of increase and decrease an elevation of the main body in response to rotating.
Robot System with Embedded Winches for Cell Sites and Towers
In various embodiments, the present disclosure relates to robot systems configured to operate on a cell tower to inspect, install, reconfigure, and repair cellular equipment. The present disclosure provides a robot for performing audit tasks of cell towers. The robot includes a body portion configured to hold various electronic components of the robot including monitoring equipment disposed thereon, one or more arms extending from the body portion adapted to manipulate components of a cell tower and to facilitate movement of the robot on the cell tower, one or more winches, and wireless interfaces adapted to allow wireless control of the robot. The robot is configured to be controlled by one of a user in a remote location, a user at the cell tower site, and autonomously via direct programing.
Method For Large Area Inspection
A computing device is configured to detect inconsistencies on a vehicle that are typically small and difficult to detect using conventional inspection techniques. Particularly, a spotlight illuminates a target area on the vehicle. The color of the spotlight is the same color as the ambient light illuminating the vehicle but is a higher intensity. Additionally, the color of the spotlight and the ambient light is selected based on the type of inconsistencies expected to be detected. Images of the target area are then captured, digitally processed, and stored in memory, such as a database, for example. Based on the processing of these images, a weighting coefficient is computed and used to generate an enhanced contrast feature map. Inconsistencies are then detected based on the enhanced contrast feature map.
SPACER DRONE INSTALL SYSTEM
One or more system and associated methods for installing a line spacer upon adjacent lines that are suspended are provided. A system includes a portion for holding and releasing the line spacer onto the lines. The system includes a portion for actuating securing portions of the line spacer to secure the line spacer upon the lines. The system includes a flying drone portion for levitation of the portion for holding and the portion for articulating to the lines.
FRAMEWORK FOR SUSTAINABLE RECHARGING OF BATTERY ELECTRIC VEHICLES WITH NEAR-PERPETUAL MOBILITY
Various embodiments of the present disclosure address technical challenges related to the battery-related constraints of battery electric vehicles (BEVs). Various embodiments described herein provide an innovative framework for replenishing BEV batteries on-the-go with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and mobile charging stations (MoCS). That is, various embodiments include a mobile multi-modality recharging framework including vehicles and apparatuses configured to provide and/or receive mobile multi-modality recharging, methods for performing and/or configuring mobile multi-modality recharging, computer program products for performing operations for mobile multi-modality recharging, and/or the like. Further, various embodiments described herein provide battery replacement systems and battery storage systems that may be implemented by a BEV or a vehicle receiving mobile multi-modality recharging.
SPACER END CLAMP
One or more line spacers for installation onto lines are provided. A spacer includes an end portion configured to transition between an open state and a closed state. The spacer includes a first mating portion. The spacer includes a second mating portion configured to mate with the first mating portion to maintain the end portion in the closed state. The spacer is installed on a line of the lines when the end portion is associated with the line and maintained in the closed state.
DRONE INSTALLED HARDWARE
One or more arrangements and associated methods for mechanical installation of an item at a location on a line that is suspended are provided. An arrangement includes a portion for mechanical actuation to install the item upon the line at the location. The arrangement includes a flying drone portion for levitation of the portion to the location on the line.
HAND TOOL DESIGNED TO BE REMOTELY CONTROLLED, AND TOOL DESIGNED TO BE REMOTELY CONTROLLED
A remotely controlled hand tool includes a grip region and an actuating button. A remotely controlled tool includes a holding region and a triggering means. The hand tool or tool enables favorable remote control by a removable application part held in the grip region or holding region. The hand tool or tool is attached to an automatically movable flying vehicle by means of an attachment.
Parking assist system and parking assist method
A parking assist system for use in a parking lot including parking spaces for a plurality of vehicles includes: a vehicle sensor which determines whether an assisted vehicle attempting to enter or exit one of the parking spaces is a general vehicle that travels through vehicle operation by a driver or an autonomous vehicle capable of self-driving according to an external travel signal; and a travel signal transmitter which, when the assisted vehicle is determined as the general vehicle, transmits, to a specific autonomous vehicle among parked autonomous vehicles, a travel signal for traveling to an available position for enabling the entry or the exit of the assisted vehicle.
