Unitary dispensing nozzle for co-injection of two or more liquids and method of using same

A unitary dispensing nozzle for co-injecting two or more liquids of different viscosity, solubility and/or miscibility at high filling speed to improve homogeneous mixing of such liquids, while said nozzle is an integral piece free of any movable parts and substantially free of dead space.

FILLING HEAD FOR POWERED LAYERING OF A DRY POWDER INHALER

A filling head (20) for filling a container (22) includes a receptacle (24). The receptacle (24) includes an interior surface (26) configured to receive a powder (28) and having a plurality of openings (34) disposed therein to allow passage of the powder (28); and an exterior surface (52). The exterior surface (52) of the receptacle (24) has a plurality of raised surfaces (54), each of the plurality of raised surfaces having a plurality of openings (56) aligned with at least one of the plurality of openings (34) of the interior surface (26) to allow passage of the powder (28) from the receptacle (24) to the container (22). Methods of filling a container (22) are also provided.

Method for closing cartridges, supporting structure for supporting cartridge closures and transport or packaging container

A transport or packaging container accommodating a plurality of supporting structures for closures, for transporting or packaging closures for closing cartridges for use in pharmaceutical, medical or cosmetic applications, in which the transport or packaging container is box-shaped and includes a bottom, which is closed or sealed by a seal, upstanding lower side-walls extending essentially perpendicularly from the bottom, a circumferential supporting step extending horizontally from the upstanding lower side-walls, upper side-walls extending upward from said circumferential supporting step, and a circumferential flange formed at upper ends of the upper side-walls; and the plurality of supporting structures for closures is accommodated inside the transport or packaging container.

Filling device

A filling device (10) comprises a filler nozzle (12) comprising a plurality of capillaries (14), and a filler valve (16), which is moveable relative to the filler nozzle (12). The filler valve (16) comprises a sealing plate (18) and a sealing component (20) moveable relative to the sealing plate (18). The sealing plate (18), when in contact with the filler nozzle (12), closes a plurality of the capillaries (14) but leaves at least one main capillary (14a) open. The sealing component (20) closes the at least one main capillary (14a) and is operable to create pressure along the at least one main capillary (14a).

Container filling assembly

A container filling assembly that can be used with container filling systems to fill containers during successive filling cycles with the same or different fluid compositions at high rates of speed, with little to no machinery changeover, and/or with little to no fluid waste.

Rotary Filling Machine

A rotary filling machine for filling containers with bridgeable dry materials includes a turret supporting a plurality of circumferentially spaced drop buckets and a plurality of funnel assemblies located under the drop buckets. A stationary slide plate is located vertically between the funnel assemblies and the drop buckets. The slide plate is configured such that flow paths from the bottoms of the drop buckets to the inlet openings of the funnel assemblies increase progressively in at least a portion of a circumferential extent of the slide plate. Drop buckets are located above the slide plate and rotate with the turret. Each drop bucket is provided with one or more partitions that hinder the “snow-plowing of particles” along the edge of the associated fill opening in the machine’s fill plate rather than the sweeping of those particles into the fill opening.

Elastic band powered fluid delivery apparatus
09839746 · 2017-12-12 ·

This invention relates to a fluid delivery apparatus, system and method, in particular the use of elastic bands to generate the force required to push fluid out from a container. The fluid that is delivered from the container maybe prefilled and stored prior to its actuation by the elastic band driver or it could be filled just before use. In one embodiment disclosed, a prefilled option would require the user to attach an appropriate extension tubing that acts as a flow control tube to the fluid container which in one embodiment is tubular shaped. In the application where the device is filled just before use, the fluid container that would be engaged with the actuating housing is presented with a fixed rate flow tube. The selection of a particular device configuration replaces the need for programming a flow rate into an electronic syringe pump.
