SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY PACKAGING AN ITEM
A system, apparatus, and method for automatically packaging one or more articles is disclosed. The system, apparatus, and method processes incoming articles having different and/or similar shapes and in random orientations for packaging. The system, apparatus, and method form shipping-ready customized packages, based, at least in part, on data associated with an individual article and gathered by a detecting device as the individual article moves along a first conveyor towards a packaging station of the system. The customized packages are configured to conform to each individual article's shape and size. The packaging preferably is fully recyclable and is made from paper which is expandable to create a cushioning layer around the packaged article.
PACKAGING OF CULTURED TISSUE
The invention is in the field of cultured meat. In particular the invention is related to a method for aseptic packaging of cultured tissue and a system suitable for this method. The method comprises the steps of producing the cultured tissue, harvesting the cultured tissue, transferring the cultured tissue to a sterile package and sealing the sterile package, wherein all steps are executed under aseptic conditions.
EMPTYING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR EMPTYING A SILO OF A PACKAGING SYSTEM
An emptying device for completely emptying at least one silo of at least one rotary packaging system, and rotary packaging system, including at least one silo, at least two filling stations with at least one filling spout each in connection with the silo, and such an emptying device, including a discharge pipe with a take-up opening. The longitudinal extension of the take-up opening is larger than its transverse extension. In the method for completely emptying a silo of a rotary packaging system with two filling stations with one filling spout each and such an emptying device, the packaging system is provided for rotating continuously during emptying.
Container filling assembly
A container filling assembly that can be used with container filling systems to fill containers during successive filling cycles with the same or different fluid compositions at high rates of speed, with little to no machinery changeover, and/or with little to no fluid waste.
METHODS FOR TREATING ANIMALS, FEED, DRINKING WATER, WASH WATER, PROCESSING EQUIPMENT, PACKAGING MATERIALS, AND FOOD PRODUCTS
Disclosed are embodiments of nanoparticle compositions, methods and systems for disinfecting animals and food products along the whole food provision chain. In one embodiment, a composition includes nonionic metal nanoparticles. The composition may be a spray, an oil, a solution or other appropriate composition for ingestion or application to food products. The silver nanoparticles maintain a stead MIC and do not exhibit microbial resistance as do conventional colloidal silver and silver nanoparticles made by chemical synthesis.
METERING EQUIPMENT FOR FOOD PRODUCTS
Metering equipment (A) for food products, including metering means (Di) defined by plunger means (Pi) and nozzle dispenser means (Ui) connected to said plunger-cylinder means (Ci, Pi) and suitable for dispensing volumetric quantities of said product; many-ways-valve distributing means (Vi) connected to said plunger-cylinder means (Ci, Pi) and to said nozzle dispenser means (Ui) placed in-between; said valve means (Vi) are being formed by a shaft (K) provided with a series of pass-through holes and suitable for turning around an own central lengthwise axis (X) inside the cylinder (Z) casing and for translating in a horizontal direction parallel to said central axis (X).
Metering apparatus and method for operating a metering apparatus
The disclosure relates to a metering apparatus for free-flowing material and to a method for operating such a metering apparatus. The metering apparatus has a metering duct having a closed cross section and further has a rotary drive (M). The metering duct is wound in the form of a screw with a vertical longitudinal axis. The free-flowing material is fed to the metering duct. The metering duct is set via the rotary drive (M) in an oscillating rotary motion about its longitudinal axis with individual rotary strokes, wherein, with each rotary stroke, a partial quantity of the free-flowing material falls out of a lower discharge opening of the metering duct.
Liquid medication dispensing machine
Provided is a liquid medication dispensing machine that can remove a liquid medication from one end of a supply pipe with higher reliability. The liquid medication dispensing machine includes a plurality of supply nozzles located at equal intervals through which liquid medications flow from a plurality of liquid medication bottles containing the liquid medications, respectively, to a prescription bottle. The plurality of supply nozzles are moved sequentially to a supply position where a supply nozzle faces an upper opening of the prescription bottle. The liquid medication dispensing machine further includes a cleaning unit that removes the liquid medication adhering to the supply nozzle. The supply nozzles are moved sequentially to a cleaning position where the cleaning unit removes the liquid medication from the supply nozzle. The cleaning position is provided at a position away from the supply position by a distance smaller than a spacing between the supply nozzles.
COMBINATION METERING ASSEMBLY FOR FILLING LIQUID PRODUCTS INTO CONTAINERS
The invention relates to a combination metering assembly for filling liquid products into containers. The invention is characterised by a base unit (1) and pump components (3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 14) of at least two different pump types for a metering operation, wherein the pump components of each pump type can be combined with the base unit in order to form a pump system of the corresponding pump type, and the base unit has connection means (19, 23) for this purpose which are compatible with the connections of the pump components. The combination metering assembly can be adapted to different metering situations with little complexity and has a comparably small space requirement.
METHOD FOR STERILIZING INTERIOR OF ASEPTIC FILLER CHAMBER
In the COP treatment and the SOP treatment of the interior of a chamber of an aseptic filler, any cleaning liquid or aseptic water remaining in the chamber is quickly removed before spray of a sterilizer containing peracetic acid or hydrogen peroxide.
A transfer device for transferring a container in the chamber of the aseptic filler is driven to remove the cleaning liquid sued for the COP treatment or the aseptic water used for the SOP treatment.
