Baling press for cotton gin trash and other biomass feedstock and methods of using the same
A baling press for baling cotton gin trash and other particulate biomass feedstock. The baling press includes an infeed chute assembly, a compression ram assembly, an extrusion chamber assembly, a strapping storage and dispensing assembly, and a strapping insertion assembly. Methods of producing a bale with the baling press and a bale generated by the baling press are also described.
COMPRESSED BALE, PACKAGING DEVICE AND PRODUCTION DEVICE FOR COMPRESSED BALES
A packaging of compressed bales (1) includes packaging (11) surrounding the compressed bale. The compressed bale is formed from highly compressed, preferably short-cut, textile fibers and has mutually opposite pressing sides (5, 6), which are acted upon by a pressing device (32) in a pressing direction (10), and circumferential sides (7, 8), which are arranged between the pressing sides. The packaging has multipart film packaging (12) resting on the bale body (4) and first strapping (22) with a plurality of parallel endless bands (23) that are laid over the pressing sides of the compressed bale. An additional strapping (25) having a plurality of endless strapping bands (26, 27) are applied to the compressed bale. The strapping bands are laid peripherally only over the circumferential sides and are arranged externally on the film packaging and on the bands. The strapping bands cross the bands, forming cross strapping (21).
System and method for conditioning and packaging freshly chopped biomass feedstocks for long term storage
The method or process described is directed at conditioning and packaging freshly chopped biomass such that it can be stored for a long period of time without spoilage and such that the packaged chopped biomass is easily transportable and its composition and other properties remain stable.
Baling Apparatus
A loading device for loading a roll of wrapping material into a feed device of a baler from which the wrapping material may be dispensed is disclosed. The loading device comprises a lateral channel supported at a first end by a first support and at a second end by a second support, a sliding member having first and second ends mounted for reciprocal movement within the lateral channel, a support member having first and second ends, the first end of the support member mounted to the second end of the sliding member, a winch and cable apparatus, a free end of the cable extending through the support member and a carriage mounted to the free end of the cable. The carriage includes a central element with engagement elements at first and second ends of the central element for releasable engagement with a roll of wrapping material. The winch and cable apparatus enables the carriage to be raised and lowered with respect to the second end of the pivoting member.
Method and baler for pressing bales of material
A method for pressing bales of material in a baler is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of feeding the material into the baler through an inlet, pre-compressing the material under a number of compressing cycles by a first press, transporting the pre-compressed material by a transport unit into a second press, and compressing the pre-compressed material by the second press into a finished bale of compressed material. The step of transporting the pre-compressed material by a transport unit into a second press is conducted in a space of the baler, such that an undesirable expansion of the pre-compressed material can be prevented. A baler for pressing bales of material is also disclosed.
System and method for reprocessing animal bedding
A method and system reprocess soiled animal bedding material commingled with animal manure. In one aspect the soiled animal bedding material is separated in a shaker to send at least a preponderance of the manure to a holding tank. In another aspect the bedding is cleaned, rinsed and color is restored. The bedding material is subsequently dried and a bedding product, fertilizer product, and/or compacted product is formed. Alternatively, the bedding material is dried (without a compacting step) to form a product. In yet another aspect, the steps of separation, cleaning, rinsing and/or color restoration may be omitted.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR METHOD FOR PROVIDING A BALE OF CROP MATERIAL
In a method for providing a bale of crop material that is only partially wrapped in a film, a bale of crop material is wrapped in a film with an automatic bale wrapping apparatus. Subsequently the film is provided with a plurality of perforations, and it is ensured that the perforations are present/positioned in an upper half of the bale. This ensures that there is good moisture control of the bale, with moist air able to escape, while stopping ingress of rain water. The bales are mostly dry hay or the like, and favourable perforations are radial slits. There is also provided a system for providing such bales with position controlled perforations.
BALE WRAPPING DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF
A method and a bale wrapping device for wrapping a bale. The method includes receiving a bale at a bale moving ramp device of the bale wrapping device. The bale on the bale moving ramp device is moved through a bale wrapping frame. The breathable sheet of wrapping material is applied on the bale to wrap the bale as the bale passes through the bale wrapping frame, and a roller on the bale wrapping frame holds a roll of the breathable sheet of wrapping material.
SEAL FOR BAG FOR CONTAINING A BALE OF COMPRESSIBLE MATERIAL, SEALING PATCH AND METHOD OF SEALING
A sealing patch for a polymeric bag includes a carrier, a pressure sensitive adhesive on the carrier and a heat-activated material on the pressure sensitive adhesive. A high-strength polymeric bag is formed from woven tapes and is coated with a polymer material. The sealing patch is positioned on the bag for sealing the bag. A method for sealing a high-strength polymeric bag with a sealing patch and a device for sealing a polymeric bag with a sealing patch are disclosed.
Apparatus for bagging a bale and method of bagging such bale
A bale bagging apparatus and method are provided. The bale bagging apparatus includes a bale feeding station, a bale chute, a bale bagging station, and a transportation system that transports a bale to be bagged from the bale feeding station through the bale chute and into the bale bagging station. The bale bagging station includes a bag receptacle, a first opening, and a bag retrieval assembly. The bag receptacle is positioned on a side opposite of the first opening from the side of the first opening on which the bale to be bagged is to be transported. The bag retrieval assembly retrieves a bag from the bag receptacle through the first opening. The bag retrieval assembly positions a first end of said bag around at least a portion of the bale chute before the bale to be bagged is transported through the bale chute by the transportation system.
