Method for packaging liquid or pasty products and packaging machine suitable for this purpose
A method for the portioned packaging of liquid or pasty products using a packaging machine. The product is fed via an inlet to a metering chamber, being metered in the metering chamber by a metering member to form a product portion, and the product portion being fed via a metering outlet to a package. In order to avoid impairments of products which are sensitive to crystallizing out in the inoperative state, the metering chamber is operated in continuous flow in at least one operating state of the packaging machine from the following group: downtimes of the packaging machine, start-up of the packaging machine and operation of the packaging machine, by the product—whether entirely or in a partial flow—being removed entirely or partially from the metering chamber past the metering member via an outlet provided in addition to the metering outlet and being recirculated.
DEVICE FOR PUMPING A LIQUID IN A LIQUID LINE
The invention relates to a device for pumping a liquid in a liquid line, in particular in a bottling system. The object of the invention is a device for pumping a liquid in a liquid line, the liquid-guiding areas of which device can be cleaned and/or disinfected without disassembling the piston assembly or performing any other interventions from the exterior. According to the invention, a device for pumping a liquid in a liquid line (1) comprises a pump element (2) and two valves (3, 4) which are disposed in the liquid line upstream of and downstream from the pump element, said pump element (2) comprising a pump piston (6) operating in a cylinder (5). The inventive device is characterized in that said pump element (2) comprises a closed chamber (7) having a constant volume of a secondary liquid on which the pump piston (6) acts. Also, the chamber (7) is connected to the liquid line (1) by means of an elastic liquid-impermeable element (8), which element can be deformed under the pressure exerted by the volume of the secondary liquid displaced by the pump piston (6).

Method of filling a container using an assembly of adjustable volume
A method of filling containers that can be used to fill containers during successive filling cycles with the same or different fluid compositions at high rates of speed, with little to no machinery changeover, and/or with little to no fluid waste.
MULTI-NOZZLE DOSING SYSTEM
The present invention relates to an improved nozzle assembly for the high-frequency dispensing of (small) volumes of a dosing fluid in a container, as well as a dosing system according to the nozzle assembly of the invention. The invention also relates to an improved volumetric device for a dosing system.
Mixing-dosage apparatus for rotary packaging machines
A mixing-dosage apparatus for rotary machines for packaging containers includes a mixing portion and a dosage portion. The two portions have a selective fluid connection using a flow control valve, which acts between the two portions so as to feed the dosage duct with consecutive loads of mixed food mass. Each load has a volume that is approximately equal to the volume of the mixing chamber.
APPARATUS FOR FILLING CARTRIDGES OF E-VAPOR DEVICES
An apparatus for the automated filling of cartridges of e-vapor devices may include a filling drum configured to receive at least one cartridge of an e-vapor device. The apparatus may additionally include a needle assembly including at least one hypodermic needle. The needle assembly is configured to transition between a lowered state and a raised state. The lowered state is where the hypodermic needle is moved down into the cartridge, while the raised state is where the hypodermic needle is lifted up and away from the cartridge. The apparatus may further include a pump assembly configured to pump a pre-vapor formulation into the cartridge when the needle assembly is in the lowered state. The pump assembly may include a variable amplitude cam system configured to adjust an amount of the pre-vapor formulation for pumping to the cartridge without changing start and stop times for the pumping.
FILLING DEVICE FOR FILLING A DEFINED QUANTITY OF A PRODUCT
The present invention relates to a filling device for dispensing a defined quantity of a product, comprising: a piston pump (3) for delivering the product to be dispensed from a reservoir (2) to a filling needle (5), wherein the piston pump (3) comprises a piston (30), a cylinder body (31), an inlet (33), an outlet (34), a first non-return valve (8) and a second non-return valve (9), wherein the piston (30), the cylinder body (31), the inlet (34), the outlet (34), the first non-return valve (8) and the second non-return valve (9) are made of a non-metallic material, wherein the inlet (33) and the outlet (34) are arranged inclined at an angle (26, 27) different from zero relative to an axis (22) of the cylinder body (31).
