Device for vacuum-packing a product in an airtight container in order to keep the product fresh longer
The device consists of two separate parts: a stationary unit (12) which contains a motor (16) and vacuum pump (14), and a mobile head (20) with a power-supply switch for the motor and an aspirating nozzle designed to fit over the valve (32) in the lid of an airtight container (28, 30). The mobile head connects to the stationary unit with two flexible coaxial spiral cords, consisting of a hose (22) linking the vacuum pump and aspirating nozzle, and a power cord (36) linking the switch to the electrical motor. Both lines can easily be stretched together from the storage position, in which the mobile head sits on the stationary unit, to active mode, in which the suction effect keeps the mobile head coupled to the container.
Air extracting device and method for calculating remaining time required for extracting action
An air extracting device (2) at least includes a processor (21), a motor (23), an air-extracting unit (24), and a wireless transmitting unit (25), and a method of the air extracting device (2) for calculating remaining time required for extracting action includes following steps: activating the motor (23) after the air extracting device (2) and a sealed bag (1) are jointed together; driving the air-extracting unit (24) to execute an extracting action by the activated motor (23) for extracting air from the sealed bag (1); monitoring load current of the motor (23) by the processor (21) while executing the extracting action; calculating a remaining time required for the extracting action by the processor (21) according to a variation of the load current; and, transmitting the remaining time required for the extracting action to a mobile device (4) through the wireless transmitting unit (25) for displaying thereon.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRESERVING THE CONTENTS OF BEVERAGE CONTAINERS
A method of preserving a liquid in a container comprises connecting a fluid flow line between a headspace of the container and a pressure modifying means and performing an operating cycle of the pressure modifying means during which the dynamic pressure in the fluid flow line is measured and compared to an initial target dynamic pressure value Pt. At the end of the operating cycle, a static pressure is measured in the fluid flow line and a pressure correction Pcorr is applied to the initial target dynamic pressure value to obtain an updated target dynamic pressure value Pt′ for use in a subsequent operating cycle of the pressure modifying means. The pressure modifying means may be a vacuum pump for the preservation of still wines, or a gas supply for the preservation of sparkling wines. A corresponding system is also disclosed.
Pressurizing Aerosol Cans
A system and corresponding method for charging an aerosol can with a compressed gas charge includes a base that is adapted for receiving a can that (i) houses a product and (ii) includes a means for injecting gas, such as a grommet or valve on the bottom of the container, and includes a compressed gas source, such as a pre-charged canister of compressed air, and air compressor, and/or an automatic or manual air pump. The can may be filled with at atmospheric pressure and then shipped while the can contains approximately atmospheric pressure. Upon receipt of the can, a user may charge the can with a compressed gas and repeat charging if needed after some of the product has been dispensed.
Device For Vacuum Stoppering A Medical Container
The invention relates to a device for vacuum stoppering a medical container. The device includes a main body defining an internal volume that has a variable pressure chamber configured to be connected to a vacuum pump. A stopper holder system is arranged in communication with the variable pressure chamber and is configured to receive and hold a stopper aligned with the direction of travel of a piston rod. A piston rod is moveable inside the internal volume of the main body along a longitudinal axis between a proximal rest position and a distal operative position wherein the piston rod pushes the stopper into the medical container. A container holder system provided in the main body, is arranged distally relative to the stopper holder system and in communication with the variable pressure chamber.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A SMOKING ARTICLE PACK
Apparatus and Method for Manufacturing a Smoking Article Pack An apparatus (10) for manufacturing a sealed pack (20, 34, 36, 37) of smoking articles (2) and modifying an internal atmosphere thereof. The apparatus (10) comprises a handling mechanism (13) for conveying a sealed pack (20) of smoking articles (2) within the apparatus (10). The handling mechanism (13) includes a support plate (24) against which a pack (20) abuts during conveyance by the handling mechanism (13). The support plate (24) includes a gas port (29). The apparatus (10) is configured such that, as a pack (20) is conveyed by the handling mechanism (13) in abutment with the support plate (24), the gas port (29) may engage a valve (4) formed in the pack (20) to enable a gaseous atmosphere within the sealed (20) pack to be modified. Also, a method of manufacturing a pack (37) of smoking articles (2) by means of such an apparatus (10).
ELECTRICAL VACUUM-PUMPING DEVICE
An electrical vacuum-pumping device includes a primary structure body, an upper lid, an electrical vacuum pump, a power source, and a suction nozzle. The primary structure body includes an upper body board and a lower body board which are fastened with each other, and in which an accommodating space is provided. The lower body board is provided with a suction hole for communicating with ambient atmosphere. The electrical vacuum pump is provided with a vacuum-pumping mouth, and is arranged in the accommodating space, and is electrically connected with the electrical vacuum pump. The suction nozzle is fixedly arranged underneath to the lower body board. When in a state of use, the suction nozzle can engage directly with an impermeable cup or a joint at one's option; or engage an object to be vacuum-pumped and then attach the same to the object to be vacuum-pumped.
