GAS DOSING APPARATUS WITH DIRECTIONAL CONTROL VALVE
A gas dosing apparatus is provided that includes an inlet configured to receive gas, and a directional control valve connected to the inlet and having a first position and a second position. The gas dosing apparatus also includes a fixed volume reservoir connected to the directional control valve and receiving gas from the inlet, via the directional control valve, while the directional control valve is in the first position. The gas dosing apparatus further includes an outlet connected to the directional control valve and outputting a gas dose received from the fixed volume reservoir, via the directional control valve, while the directional control valve is in the second position
Device for filling a medicine-unit container for use in a medicine unit dispensing device, medicine-unit container, assembly of such device and a container and method for cleaning such device
The invention relates to a device for filling a medicine-unit container for use in a medicine unit dispensing device, comprising a support for the container, adapted to fix the position of the container relative to the device and limit a movement of the container relative to the device and at least one movable push element, such as a rod or pin, operable relative to the support, for pushing an unlocking element of a container supported by the device.
Dosing unit, a dosing method, and a machine for producing unit dose articles
A dosing unit for a machine for producing unit dose articles includes a plurality of nozzles carried by respective movable elements and associated to fluid delivery lines, and a plurality of controlled valves associated to respective actuators and arranged for selectively opening and closing a passage of fluid through said fluid delivery lines.

Actuating system and nozzles for liquid dispensers
An actuator system having a stationary circular array of mechanical devices. The actuator system includes two stationary motors: one motor to rotate the actuator implement around the circular array of mechanical devices until the desired mechanical device is reached; and a second motor to rotate the actuator implement into engagement with an actuator pin of the mechanical device. A nozzle includes a three-sided or U-shaped stationary enclosure, together with a movable gate that completes the enclosure and forms an adjustable size nozzle outlet. As the gate closes after a dispense is complete, a controlled flow of residual liquid exits the nozzle outlet to avoid any additional displacement, thus preventing the undesirable effect of liquid being squeezed out of the nozzle outlet as the gate closes. Conversely, when the gate opens, this sniff back action operates in reverse, thereby filling the nozzle outlet and preventing air from filling the nozzle.
Method for packaging liquid or pasty products and packaging machine suitable for this purpose
A method for the portioned packaging of liquid or pasty products using a packaging machine. The product is fed via an inlet to a metering chamber, being metered in the metering chamber by a metering member to form a product portion, and the product portion being fed via a metering outlet to a package. In order to avoid impairments of products which are sensitive to crystallizing out in the inoperative state, the metering chamber is operated in continuous flow in at least one operating state of the packaging machine from the following group: downtimes of the packaging machine, start-up of the packaging machine and operation of the packaging machine, by the product—whether entirely or in a partial flow—being removed entirely or partially from the metering chamber past the metering member via an outlet provided in addition to the metering outlet and being recirculated.
Gathering and dispensing scoop with gate valve
A gathering and dispensing scoop with agitating gate valve provides a scoop body defining an upper opening, a bottom opening, and a channel extending therebetween. A handle extends radially from an outer peripheral surface of the scoop body. A gate valve transects the channel and has a user operable finger tab adjacent to the handle for a user to move the gate valve from a first position transecting the channel and obstructing the bottom opening to a second position wherein the gate valve no longer obstructs the channel and opens the bottom opening.
DEVICE FOR PUMPING A LIQUID IN A LIQUID LINE
The invention relates to a device for pumping a liquid in a liquid line, in particular in a bottling system. The object of the invention is a device for pumping a liquid in a liquid line, the liquid-guiding areas of which device can be cleaned and/or disinfected without disassembling the piston assembly or performing any other interventions from the exterior. According to the invention, a device for pumping a liquid in a liquid line (1) comprises a pump element (2) and two valves (3, 4) which are disposed in the liquid line upstream of and downstream from the pump element, said pump element (2) comprising a pump piston (6) operating in a cylinder (5). The inventive device is characterized in that said pump element (2) comprises a closed chamber (7) having a constant volume of a secondary liquid on which the pump piston (6) acts. Also, the chamber (7) is connected to the liquid line (1) by means of an elastic liquid-impermeable element (8), which element can be deformed under the pressure exerted by the volume of the secondary liquid displaced by the pump piston (6).
VACUUM ASSISTED NOZZLE AND APPARATUS
An apparatus having a nozzle, a fluid flow conduit, a fluid flow discharge opening, a fluid flow discharge opening area, a fluid flow valve, a vacuum, a vacuum conduit, a vacuum opening, a vacuum valve, and a vacuum opening area wherein the vacuum opening is spatially proximate to the fluid flow discharge opening, the vacuum opening area to the fluid flow discharge opening area has a ratio of less than or equal to 1, and the fluid flow valve and vacuum valve are coupled.
