WEIGHING AND PACKAGING SYSTEM
In a weighing and packaging system 1, an analysis unit 714 ascertains a fluctuation tendency in a time series for a measured value of information pertaining to a time in which a group of articles C passes between a light-projecting unit 27a and a light-receiving unit 27b of a detection sensor 27 of a bag-making and packaging unit 3, and adjusts a transverse seal timing or a cycle time in accordance with the fluctuation tendency. As a result, articles can be prevented in advance from being bitten during transverse sealing.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FILLING CONTAINERS FOR BAGS OF SMOKELESS TOBACCO
The invention relates to a device (1) for filling containers for bags (B) of smokeless tobacco, specifically tobacco of the snus type, comprising an infeed station (2) configured for feeding at least one succession of inner frames (T), a filling station (3) configured to feed a succession of individual bags (B) of smokeless tobacco to a respective inner frame (T), a release station (5) configured for releasing at least one succession of inner frames (T) which are full of bags (B), a conveyor (6) defining a feed line which passes through the infeed station (2), the filling station (3) and the release station (5) and which has at least one housing (6a) configured to hold and move a respective inner frame (T) from the infeed station (2) to the release station (5) by way of the filling station (3), suction means (7) disposed in the filling station (3) and configured to apply pneumatic suction in the housing (6a) of the conveyor (6) disposed in the filling station (3) and rotation means (8) disposed in the filling station (3) and confronting the housing (6a) of the conveyor (6) disposed in the filling station (3). The rotation means (8) are configured to set the inner frame (T) disposed in the housing (6a) in rotation about the respective central axis so that successive radial compartments of the inner frame (T) each confront a respective bag (B) to be inserted in sequence.
PACKAGING MACHINE AND APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FEEDING CUPS FOR PACKAGING
An apparatus for use in delivering cup-like containers to a container receiving path of a packaging station includes: a first infeed tower and a second infeed tower, each of the first infeed tower and the second infeed tower having: a stationary upper segment and a movable lower segment, wherein the movable lower segment is movable between a load position, in alignment with the stationary upper segment for receiving cup-like containers from the stationary upper segment, and an unload position, in alignment with the container receiving path for delivering cup-like containers to the container receiving path; a transfer gate controllable to block feed of cup-like containers from the stationary upper segment down into the movable lower segment; and an outlet gate controllable to block feed of cup-like containers down out of the movable lower segment.
Automatic case packing equipment for stand-up pouches
A system for packing a case with articles, the system including a conveying device to convey articles to be packed, in a serial configuration and a support for a case to be packed with the articles in which the articles are configured to be placed in a plurality of rows, including a first row, a second row adjacent to the first row and a last row adjacent to a side wall of the case.
