Packaging apparatus for small piece goods and method for producing a blister tube comprising a plurality of blister bags
A packaging apparatus for small piece goods, the use of the packaging apparatus, and a method for producing a blister tube are provided. The packaging apparatus includes a packaging material guiding device for providing a shaped packaging material web suitable for receiving small piece goods, a longitudinal joining device which is arranged downstream of the packaging material guiding device and a transverse joining device which is arranged downstream of the packaging material guiding device. The transverse joining device joins the shaped packaging material web together at predetermined intervals transversely to the direction of travel to form a transverse joining area. The transverse joining device includes two joiners, which have a plurality of embossers that are individually movable transversely to the direction of travel and have an embosser stop area which cooperate such that elevations that are palpable are formed by the embossers in the transverse joining area.
Perforated case pack top panel
An apparatus and a method are provided for a perforated top panel disposed in a shrink-wrapped bottle pack for containing water bottles. The perforated top panel includes an easy-open panel and a semi-circular portion disposed at a terminal end of the easy-open panel. The easy-open panel is partially bordered by an alternating series of cuts and lands that are configured to allow the easy-open panel to tear away from the top panel upon being pulled by a practitioner. The easy-open panel includes a parallel portion that extends to one or more tapered portions that terminate at the semi-circular portion. The semi-circular portion is configured to be grasped and pulled to separate the tapered portion and the parallel portion from the top panel and thus expose the water bottles.
Packaging device with fault detection
A method for packaging discrete medicaments in pouches in a packaging device configured to form and fill the pouches in an elongated web, the method comprising the following steps: transporting the elongated web along a web trajectory, printing information on the elongated web related to the discrete medicaments that are fed to the elongated web at the position of the printed information on the elongated web, feeding the discrete medicaments to the elongated web at the position on the elongated web of the related printed information, inspecting the elongated web to determine whether there is a fault related to the elongated web, and in response to a fault being detected, printing a fault indication or a fault symbol on the elongated web, and forming an empty pouch at the position of the fault indication or fault symbol.
The transverse joining device includes two joiners, a first joiner having a plurality of embossers that are individually movable transversely to the direction of travel and are arranged so that they can be extended from the first joiner and retracted into the first joiner.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR METHOD FOR PROVIDING A BALE OF CROP MATERIAL
In a method for providing a bale of crop material that is only partially wrapped in a film, a bale of crop material is wrapped in a film with an automatic bale wrapping apparatus. Subsequently the film is provided with a plurality of perforations, and it is ensured that the perforations are present/positioned in an upper half of the bale. This ensures that there is good moisture control of the bale, with moist air able to escape, while stopping ingress of rain water. The bales are mostly dry hay or the like, and favourable perforations are radial slits. There is also provided a system for providing such bales with position controlled perforations.
TOOLS FOR FORMING A SEPARATION LINE IN A PACK OF FOOD CUPS
Equipment for making a precut in a pack of food cups, wherein the precuts makes separation by breaking along a separation line between two food cups easier, where the equipment includes at least one knife for making a precut groove and/or a full cut along the separation line and at least one counter-knife.
EASY-OPEN PEEL POUCH
Embodiments include a package for containing and dispensing a product. The package includes first and second layers; a product seal zone where the first layer is joined to the second layer, the product seal zone having an inner perimeter that defines an unsealed pouch area for containing the product and an outer perimeter; and a header zone adjacent to the outer perimeter of the product seal zone. The header zone includes a first tab; a second tab; a first tab-cut in the first layer within an unsealed portion of the header zone; and a second tab-cut in the second layer within the unsealed portion of the header zone. Other embodiments are also included herein.
DRUG PACKAGING DEVICE
Disclosed is a drug packaging device including a packaging unit and a cutting unit. The packaging unit includes a pair of packaging rollers that are pressed against each other with a drug packaging member disposed therebetween, thereby forming isolation regions in the drug packaging member at regular intervals so that at least one drug accommodation section can be formed between the isolation regions. The cutting unit forms a non-continuous zigzag cut line in which peak-shaped cuts and valley-shaped cuts are alternatively arranged and separated by a plurality of uncut portions. With this structure, it is possible to contribute to improvement in durability of a drug packaging member as well as in cuttability of the drug packaging member.
Device and methods for packaging medicaments with fault detection
A method for packaging discrete medicaments in pouches in a packaging device includes transporting the elongated web along a web trajectory, printing information on the elongated web related, feeding the discrete medicaments to the elongated web, inspecting the elongated web to determine whether there is a fault related to the elongated web, and in response to a fault being detected, printing a fault indication or a fault symbol on the elongated web, and forming an empty pouch at the position of the fault indication or fault symbol.
MEANS FOR MONITORING COMPLIANCE, FACILITATING AUTOMATIC DISPENSING AND CHILDPROOFING STRIP PACKAGED MEDICATIONS
There is provided an apparatus for monitoring compliance, facilitating automatic dispensing and childproofing strip packaged medication. In one embodiment a dispenser advances a packet, controls advancement of the packet and detects the presence and absence of the packet, including electronic circuitry for recording events. A replicate for strip package medication can have packets with an open conductive trace, each packet being rupturable at a location to interrupt conductivity of the conductive trace. When the conductive trace of one of the packets completes an external circuit, the circuit is interrupted when the packet is ruptured. In another aspect, each packet has a tuned antenna that is tuned to an external transceiver which detects the detuning of each antenna. In a method of making a replicate for strip package medication, conductive ink is printed on a surface of each packet of the replicate and longitudinal edges of the replicate are reinforced.
