A stretch film dispenser includes a frame. The frame has a top seat and a bottom seat. The top seat and the bottom seat are jointly equipped with a film mounting unit and a film dispensing unit. The film dispensing unit includes a first roller and a second roller. The first roller and the second roller have a strip hole. The strip hole is located between the first roller and the second roller. Through the strip hole of the first roller and the second roller, the front end of a film can pass through the strip hole between the first roller and the second roller easily and quickly, and the film is pulled out along the direction of the first roller, thereby achieving the effect of easy and convenient installation of the film.

A manually propelled wrapping machine movable by an operator around a load to wrap the latter with a film of plastic material, comprises a carriage provided with a plurality of supporting wheels and a guiding bar usable by the operator to push and direct the carriage at least along a wrapping path around the load; a column fixed to the carriage and slidably supporting an unwinding unit for dispensing the film; an actuating device for moving the unwinding unit along the column with a specific movement speed; the wrapping machine further includes a first sensor device associated with at least one wheel of said wheels for detecting and measuring a rotation speed of the latter, and a control unit for receiving a signal related to the rotation speed from the first sensor device and calculating an advancing speed of the carriage along the wrapping path and for controlling the actuating device so as to adjust the movement speed of the unwinding unit as a function of the advancing speed so as to wrap the load with a defined wrapping configuration.

A stretch wrap applicator includes one or more cutting members arranged, for instance, in parallel and designed to engage the stretch wrap to cut it into strips as it is dispensed from the roll. The strips are then gathered and stretched into strings that are wrapped around the object. The strings formed from the stretch wrap can stretch to an extended length while maintaining excellent tensile strength to secure heavy loads. In a further approach, an applicator can selectively gathers or not gather the stretch film in such a way as to create a solid string or a film during continuous application to an object so that the user can rotate from film to string and then back to film. Such approaches save on the volume of stretch wrap used to secure a load without significantly compromising strength.
