WEIGHING AND PACKAGING SYSTEM
In a weighing and packaging system 1, an analysis unit 714 ascertains a fluctuation tendency in a time series for a measured value of information pertaining to a time in which a group of articles C passes between a light-projecting unit 27a and a light-receiving unit 27b of a detection sensor 27 of a bag-making and packaging unit 3, and adjusts a transverse seal timing or a cycle time in accordance with the fluctuation tendency. As a result, articles can be prevented in advance from being bitten during transverse sealing.

Recyclable pouch having reseal closure overlapping an edge seal, formed from rollstock film, on high speed packaging machinery
Recyclable pouches formed from rollstock and having a resealable closure that extends into both side edges of the pouch may be produced at high speeds on a single manufacturing line in which the pouches are formed, cut apart, filled, and then sealed if the film forming the pouch comprises a recyclable heat seal layer and a second recyclable layer having a melting temperature of at least 30° C. greater than the heat seal layer.

MULTI-LAYER FILM
A multi-layer film includes a first-seal layer and a second-seal layer. The multi-layer film may be used to form a package for consumer-care products.
BAG-MAKING AND PACKAGING MACHINE
A bag-making and packaging machine forms a sheet-like film into a tubular shape and transversely seals the film to manufacture bags containing articles. The bag-making and packaging machine includes a transverse sealing mechanism and a control unit. The transverse sealing mechanism pinches and transversely seals the tubular film that has been formed into a tubular shape to form a transverse seal portion. The control unit determines whether or not there is jamming in the transverse seal portion and, in a case where it has determined that there is jamming, switches between a first bag-making process to continue bag-making operation and a second bag-making process to stop bag-making operation based on a jamming state.

DRUG IDENTIFICATION DEVICE AND DRUG IDENTIFICATION METHOD
To provide a drug identification device and a drug identification method capable of eliminating an overlap of drugs in dose packaging bags. A drug identification device includes: an inlet configured to receive dose packaging bags in each of which drugs are packaged; a conveying path configured to convey the dose packaging bags received by the inlet; an imaging element configured to capture images of the drugs on the conveying path; a processor configured to identify the drugs based on the images of the drugs captured by the imaging element; a storing case arranged at an upstream side of the inlet and configured to store the dose packaging bags; and a vibration device configured to vibrate the storing case.
