METHOD TO PRINT AND APPLY LABELS TO PRODUCTS
The present application relates to a method and system for labeling one or more products such as packages transported along a conveyer, and more specifically to applying a label on a respective package by way of a vertically adjustable assembly positioned above the conveyor. The adjustable assembly includes at least a label printer and an applicator for printing and applying the label on a surface of the package on the conveyor.
Labelling apparatus and method for applying labels to containers
A labeling device and a method for applying labels to containers comprising an unwinding unit for receiving thereon at least one supply roll with a label tape; having an intermediate buffer unit for temporarily storing the label tape unwound from the supply roll, the intermediate buffer unit comprising at least one first movable roller unit; a drive unit arranged downstream of the intermediate buffer unit when seen in the conveying direction and used for driving the label tape in the conveying direction and processing unit for separating the label tape into the individual labels and for optionally coating the labels with glue and for transferring the labels to the containers wherein the intermediate buffer unit and the drive unit have arranged between them a separately configured, dynamic buffer unit comprising at least one second roller unit which is movable independently of the intermediate buffer unit.
Devices, systems, and methods for automatically printing and applying labels to products
Devices, systems, and methods for automatically printing and applying one or more label to at least one item to enable shipping of the at least one item by a carrier are provided. In some aspects, a movable label applicator device includes a printer for printing the one or more label onto a supply of labeling material, wherein the one or more printed label contains unique information associated with the at least one item. In some aspects, the device further includes an applicator for applying the one or more printed label to a surface of the at least one item, wherein the applicator is configured to apply multiple labels to the surface of the at least one item such that the multiple labels are removably stacked on top of one another.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE APPLICATION OF SHRINK FILM SLEEVE
A method and a device for applying a shrink film sleeve to a container is provided. The method includes perforating the shrink film sleeve at predefined intervals, expanding the perforated shrink film sleeve by means of an expansion device, such as an expansion mandrel, conveying the expanded shrink film sleeve along the expansion device by a conveyor roller pair, tearing off the shrink film sleeve at the perforation by means of a downstream dispensing roller pair whose conveying speed is at least temporarily higher than the conveying speed of the conveyor roller pair, and shooting the torn-off shrink film sleeve onto the container.
METHOD FOR FEEDING LINERLESS LABELS TO A LABELLING UNIT AND APPARATUS FOR FEEDING LINERLESS LABELS TO THE LABELLING UNIT
An apparatus for feeding a strip (1) of linerless labels (2) to a drum (60) for applying the labels onto containers comprises a strip support (10) for supporting a reel of a strip of linerless labels (2) and allowing unwinding of the strip (1) from the reel; a first motorized drive roller (20), designed to rotate in a direction of rotation to cause unwinding of the strip (1) arranged on the support (10) and continuous feeding thereof downstream in an advancement direction (X-X) of the strip; a second motorized drive roller (50), designed to rotate such as to cause advancing of the strip (1) towards the drum (60); a chamber (100) which is arranged between the first drive roller (20) and the second drive roller (5) in the direction (X-X) of advancement of the strip; a first upstream roller (11) of the chamber, motorized and rotating in the direction of rotation for advancing the strip, and a second downstream roller (120a) of the chamber, motorized to rotate in a direction opposite to that of the first upstream roller, said rollers being arranged at a respective upstream or downstream edge of the opening (101) of the chamber (100). Pressurized air is fed to a dispensing nozzle (202) arranged to dispense the pressurized air towards the inside of the chamber (100) and a control unit (500) is configured and arranged to cause the unwinding and continuous advancing movement of the strip (1) from the support (10) to the upstream roller (11) of the chamber (100) and an advancing movement of the strip with a predefined speed and tension between said downstream roller (120a,120) of the chamber (100) and the second motorized drive roller (50).
Produce label printer and applicator
A printer assembly (30) for applying labels (36) on produce P being transported on a conveyance system (24). The printer assembly receives labels (36) mounted on a substrate tape (34) from a label supply (32) and prints content on the labels pertaining to the produce being transported. An accumulator (42), together with the printer (40), are mounted on a chassis (60). The accumulator receives labels from the printer, temporarily stores a variable number of the printed labels and supplies the stored labels as needed to an applicator (44). The applicator removes the labels from the substrate tape and applies the labels on the produce as the produce is being transported by the conveyance system. The accumulator accommodates the difference in the operational speeds of the printer relative to the applicator.
