Translucent heat seal material for low temperature applications
A label material attachable to a product, and a method of applying the label material to the product is described herein. Printed indicia, such as brand identifiers or other labeling information, are applied to the substantially transparent label material using a thermal or other suitable printer. The label material is then bonded to the product using a low heat and pressure technique to activate the adhesive. Once applied to the product, a portion of the label material bonded to the product substantially blends into the product leaving only the printed indicia readily visible to a consumer.
Heat Seal Material For Low Temperature Applications
In accordance with some embodiments, a label material attachable to a product and a method of applying the label material to the product are described. In some embodiments, a label material may include a polyurethane web including a top side and a back side, an adhesive applied to the back side, and a removable backing. The adhesive may have a melting temperature of less than 170 degrees Celsius.
Device for applying self-adhesive labels on moving containers
Described is a device (1) for applying self-adhesive labels (101) on moving containers (2), comprising means (28) for feeding a web (103) along a movement path, the labels (101) being arranged on the web (103) to bring one label (101) at a time to a detaching unit (12). The detaching unit (12) is operatively associated with the labels (101) for detaching them from the web (103) in such a way as to apply them to a container (2). The device (1) also comprises a unit for controlling the feed means (28) designed for moving the web (103) along an outward direction (19) to bring a respective label (101) to the detaching unit (12). In addition, after a label (101) has been detached, the control unit is designed to move the web (103) in a return direction (20), opposite to the outward direction, by a predetermined distance in such a way as to increase the movement space between the detaching unit (12) and the next label (101).
Label preparing device and label preparing method in label preparing device
There is provided a label preparing device including: a laser cutting section that forms a cutting line, which is an outline of a label piece, on a media by irradiating the media with laser beams; and a print section that applies ink to at least a peripheral part of the label piece after the cutting line is formed. It is preferable that the laser cutting section irradiates the media in an immobile state with laser beams, and the print section applies ink to the media in which the immobile state is maintained.
Printing apparatus, control method and non-temporary recording medium
In accordance with one embodiment, a printing apparatus comprises a conveyance path, a detection section and a control section. The conveyance path conveys a mount to which labels are attached. The detection section detects the existence of the label peeled off by a peeling bar which peels off the label attached to the mount. The control section controls start time of back feed of the mount in a case in which it is detected that the label is taken away.
TRANSLUCENT HEAT SEAL MATERIAL FOR LOW TEMPERATURE APPLICATIONS

Printed indicia, such as brand identifiers or other labeling information, are applied to the substantially transparent label material using a thermal or other suitable printer. The label material is then bonded to the product using a low heat and pressure technique to activate the adhesive. Once applied to the product, a portion of the label material bonded to the product substantially blends into the product leaving only the printed indicia readily visible to a consumer.
A DEVICE FOR APPLYING SELF-ADHESIVE LABELS ON MOVING CONTAINERS
Method and device for application of a label to an object
A method and a device for application of a label to an object, comprising: moving the object from a storing position to a labeling position; back-feeding and printing a label arranged at a continuous liner; moving the liner across a peeling edge, whereby the label is peeled off from the liner; transferring the label from the liner to the object; and removing the object from the labeling position to a removal position.
Apparatus and methods for dispensing at least one segment of a printed media sheet with a plurality of segments
There is provided an apparatus and a method for dispensing printed labels from a printer. The printed labels may be prepared on a need basis, such that each printed label is either held in the apparatus or ejected from the apparatus. Some advantages of the apparatus and method include prolonging a lifespan for a print head, and minimization of transition error on a media used for printing.
METHOD IN A LABEL PRINTER
The specification relates to a method in a label printer (100), the label printer at least comprising: a label supply spool (120) configured to supply a label web comprising a label (191) and a carrier (191); a label rewinder (130) configured to rewind at least the carrier; a drive roller (172). The method comprises: operating the label rewinder in an opposite direction to a rewind direction and building or continue to build an extension (195) on the carrier between the drive roller (172) and the carrier rewinder (130) during a backfeed operation of the label web; performing a backfeed operation by rotating the drive roller (172) in a direction opposite to the print operation direction until a next label is displaced back to a start print position; stopping the drive roller after backfeed when a length of the extension (195) is reduced; and rewind with the rewinder (130) in rewinder operation direction causing the carrier to tense.
