LABEL WRAPPING DEVICE CONFIGURED TO WRAP LABEL AROUND CABLE AFTER LABEL IS COMPLETELY PEELED OFF RELEASE PAPER
A label wrapping device configured to warp a label around a cable includes a stripping part, a conveying roller, an insertion recess, a driving part and a controller. The conveying roller conveys the label peeled off a release paper by the stripping part in a conveying direction along a conveying path. The insertion recess is positioned downstream of the conveying roller in the conveying direction and is open toward the conveying path. The controller is configured to control the driving part: (a) to enable the conveying roller to convey the label peeled off the release paper in the conveying direction; and (b) to enable the conveying roller to halt conveyance of the label when an upstream end of the label becomes positioned downstream relative to the stripping part in the conveying direction and after the label covers at least a portion of an opening of the insertion recess.
Asymmetric Peel Plate for a Label-Dispensing Apparatus and Peel Assist Plate
An asymmetric peel plate for a label-dispensing apparatus for separating labels from a liner as the liner travels along a liner path extending in a longitudinal direction through the label-dispensing apparatus. The asymmetric peel plate includes one or more liner support surfaces defining a portion of the liner path and further includes a peel edge disposed at a longitudinally forward end of the liner support surface(s) in which the peel edge extends forwardly along the longitudinal direction to a peel edge apex. No plane exists perpendicular to the liner path if the liner was unbent that is collinear with a bending line in which the peel edge is reflectionally symmetrical about the plane.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a printing part configured to perform printing on a recording medium in which a label is attached to a backing sheet, transport rollers configured to sandwich and transport the recording medium, a peeling member configured to peel off the label from the backing sheet by bending the recording medium, and a tensioner configured to apply a tension in a direction opposite to a transport direction of the recording medium transported by the transport rollers to the recording medium, wherein, in the transport direction, the transport rollers are positioned downstream of the peeling member, and the tensioner is positioned upstream of the peeling member.
Label peeling device
According to one embodiment, a label peeling device includes a tray, a pressing unit, and a control unit. The tray is configured to support a label sheet thereon. The pressing unit is configured to be driven in a direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction of the label sheet. The control unit is configured to drive the pressing unit toward a central portion of the label sheet supported on the tray. The control unit performs peeling control to peel a liner sheet and a label body of the label sheet from each other by pressing an edge of the label sheet and thereby curving the label sheet.

Wire label with carrier
A label assembly comprised of a carrier strip and a plurality of labels. The carrier strip comprises at least a first backing layer and a layer of adhesive material located over said first backing layer. A second backing layer may be located over said adhesive layer. Predetermined areas are removed from the second backing area to expose the adhesive layer. Cover tabs overlay portions of the exposed adhesive layer with the labels being removably adhered to the carrier strip on the remaining exposed adhesive layer. The labels may be provided with frangible regions for partitioning the wire label. The frangible regions include both severed portions and points of attachment.
