MEDICAL DEVICE HAVING A LABEL AND METHOD FOR APPLYING A LABEL TO A MEDICAL DEVICE
The present invention relates to a medical device having a transparent region and a label wherein a hot stamping film is located on the transparent region; and a thermal transfer film that in turn has a label is located on the hot stamping film, with the label having a different color than the hot stamping film. The invention furthermore relates to a method of applying a label to a medical device.
TRANSPORT SYSTEM IN THE BEVERAGE INDUSTRY AND COMPUTER-CONTROLLED OR ELECTRONIC METHOD FOR OPERATING THE TRANSPORT SYSTEM
The invention relates to a transport system (1, 10, 14) in the beverage industry with a transport device (TR) which is designed to transport containers (3) through the transport system in a transport direction, having a rinsing region (4, 18) which is designed to form a liquid curtain (5, 19) through which containers that can be transported by the transport device (2) can pass. The invention furthermore relates to a computer-controlled or electronic method for operating the transport system.
Labeling systems and methods of making and using same
A method for printing and applying labels comprises printing indicia on a first label using a printer to form a first printed label and holding the first printed label in a holding tray. The method includes moving an arm from an original position to a first position to collect the first printed label from the holding tray, and rotating the arm in a first direction to move the first printed label towards a substrate. The method comprises moistening the first printed label to activate a dissolvable liner of the first printed label. The method includes using the arm to apply the moistened first printed label to the substrate. The arm is rotated in a second direction away from the substrate. The printer prints a second label before the arm returns to the original position to collect the second label from the holding tray.
Systems and methods for decorating substrates
Systems and methods for forming and applying decorations onto substrates are disclosed. According to some aspects, a decoration may be formed on a carrier web at a decoration forming station positioned along a web path. The decorations may be transported along the web path to an application station at which the decorations are applied to substrates from the carrier web.
Application of linerless labels
A method of applying a linerless label to an article wherein a web of joined labels is die cut from a web of label material in which the adhesive is protected by a water-soluble coating which provides a cushion between an anvil and die cutting means. The water-soluble coating is at least partially removed by exposure to water in a press following die-cutting, in a label applicator, or in an off-line unit. The web of joined labels may be wound and unwound between each of the above options. The web of joined labels may be separated in a label applicator by breaking a weakened boundary between adjoining labels or by cutting at a boundary between the label and the adjoining label. The linerless label may contain anti-counterfeit means that may be subsequently identified overtly and/or covertly.
Polyurethane protective film
A protective film that can be included in multi-layer film laminates for use in marketing, advertising campaigns, particularly outdoor or other environment impacted promotions and safety applications. The film includes at least two different polyurethane polymers and is free or substantially free of polyvinyl chloride based polymer. One polyurethane has an ultimate elongation less than 200%, and another polyurethane has an ultimate elongation more than 400%. The film may be transparent, translucent, clear or have other desirable optical properties.
Battery label alignment device and method
A battery label attachment apparatus for attaching a label to a battery including a label support on which the label is placed, an alignment check part configured to check whether an alignment state of the label is normal or defective, and a label aligning part configured to align the label when the alignment state determined by the alignment check part is defective is provided. A method for attaching a label to a battery is also provided.
Overflow panel system for pharmaceutical container
Methods for producing a label for a prescription container having non-prescription specific information pre-printed off-site from the pharmacy by a label supplier. The methods optimize prescription container size by providing the pharmacy with the ability to efficiently print and apply a label to the prescription container with the pre-printed non-prescription specific information for most prescriptions with shorter prescription specific information or to print and apply a label without the non-prescription specific information for prescriptions with longer prescription specific information.
PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET FOR TIRE
Provided is a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet for tires that enables continuous and efficient labeling on tires using a labeling apparatus. The pressure sensitive adhesive sheet includes a release material (C), a first pressure sensitive adhesive layer (B1), a first substrate (A1), a second pressure sensitive adhesive layer (B2), and a second substrate (A2), in this order, and satisfies Requirement (1): in a planar view of the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet, the outline of the first pressure sensitive adhesive layer (B1) exists inside the outline of the second substrate (A2); and Requirement (2): the MD stiffness of the second substrate (A2), measured in the Gurley method according to JIS L 1085, is 0.10 mN or more.
