METHOD TO PRINT AND APPLY LABELS TO PRODUCTS
The present application relates to a method and system for labeling one or more products such as packages transported along a conveyer, and more specifically to applying a label on a respective package by way of a vertically adjustable assembly positioned above the conveyor. The adjustable assembly includes at least a label printer and an applicator for printing and applying the label on a surface of the package on the conveyor.
Devices, systems, and methods for automatically printing and applying labels to products
Devices, systems, and methods for automatically printing and applying one or more label to at least one item to enable shipping of the at least one item by a carrier are provided. In some aspects, a movable label applicator device includes a printer for printing the one or more label onto a supply of labeling material, wherein the one or more printed label contains unique information associated with the at least one item. In some aspects, the device further includes an applicator for applying the one or more printed label to a surface of the at least one item, wherein the applicator is configured to apply multiple labels to the surface of the at least one item such that the multiple labels are removably stacked on top of one another.
High speed label applicator systems and methods
A label application system for applying paper non-pressure adhesive labels to relatively short, round, straight-walled articles is constructed and designed so that labels to be applied to passing articles are delivered to the label application zone on a vacuum conveyor in a short feed orientation, with each label being oriented lengthwise across a width of the vacuum conveyor. At the time of labeling, the label is held stationary on a flat vacuum surface, and the label is applied by spinning the articles past the vacuum surface. As a result, the system is capable of labeling articles at processing speeds of up to or exceeding 800 articles per minute.
Labelling machine for applying label sheets onto articles
There is described a labelling machine for applying label sheets onto articles comprising: a web feeding unit for feeding a web of labelling material formed by a series of label sheets joined to each other; a label transfer device receiving said web from the web feeding unit at an input station and adapted to feed single label sheets to respective articles at an application station spaced apart from the input station; and a cutting device for cutting the web of labelling material into single label sheets; the label transfer device comprises a transfer conveyor adapted to retain the single label sheets and to release the single label sheets themselves on the articles at the application station; the transfer conveyor comprises a closed-loop transfer track and at least two label holders movable on the transfer track by means of a magnetic-inductive interaction.
Labelling machine configured to apply labels onto articles for containing a pourable product
Disclosed is a labelling machine for articles containing pourable product, comprising: a first endless conveyor to advance a number of articles along part of an endless article path, from an input station to an application station and from the application station to an output station; and a second endless conveyor to advance a number of labels along part of an endless label path, from a receiving station to the application station; the first conveyor comprises an article holding device movably coupled to the first conveyor, configured to carry one respective article from the input station to the output station and controllable along the article path by means of magnetic-inductive interaction; the second conveyor comprises a label holding device movably coupled to the second conveyor, to carry one respective label from the receiving station to the application station and controllable along the label path by means of magnetic-inductive interaction.
CONTAINER LABELING MACHINE
A container labeling machine, including a conveyor of containers to be labeled and at least one labeling unit that comprises an unwinding assembly adapted to pick up from a spool a label ribbon to be applied to the containers, and to feed the label ribbon to a cutting drum which is provided with suction apertures for retaining the label ribbon in adhesion and provided with cutting apparatus for cutting the label ribbon at the separation region between two consecutive labels; the cutting drum supports at least one cutting device provided with a respective air suction chamber, which is open substantially at the lateral surface of the cutting drum and accommodates inside it at least one blade; the suction chamber is connectable to air suction apparatus for drawing the label ribbon against the blade, in order to cut the label ribbon.
CUTTING DRUM FOR A LABELING MACHINE
A cutting drum for a labeling machine, which includes a drum main body designed to receive in adhesion a label ribbon on which multiple labels are printed in succession; along the perimeter of the drum main body there is at least one cutting device which includes a respective suction chamber, which accommodates at least one blade; the suction chamber is connectable to air suction elements, in order to attract the label ribbon toward the inside of the suction chamber and against the blade, in order to produce the cutting of the label ribbon; the cutting device comprises a respective box-like body for supporting the blade which forms internally the suction chamber and is detachably supported by the drum main body; the blade is coupled to the box-like body by virtue of detachable retention elements.
LABEL SUPPLY APPARATUS AND LABEL RECOVERY APPARATUS
A label supply apparatus includes a suction portion having a suction surface on which a label with an adhesive is to be held, sensors on the suction surface, and a controller configured to determine whether the label is held on the suction surface at a proper position or an improper position based on sensing results from the sensors.
Label picking arrangement and method for picking labels
A label picking apparatus includes an anvil having a cavity and a picking element. A support surface surrounding the cavity and a picking surface of the picking element are respectively connectable to an under pressure source for respectively holding a web of material to the support surface and pre-cut label to the picking surface, the pre-cut label attached with the web of material with micro material bridges. The picking surface moveable into the cavity to release the label from the web. The picking surface has an inner surface and an outer surface. The outer surface is formed from ends of protrusions that each extend from the inner surface, the protrusions of the picking surface made from high-friction material.
