BLOW LABELER
The invention relates to a blow labeler for applying labels to packages, comprising a blower head having a base platform, which has an air connection device that comprises a plurality of ports having a compressed air port and at least one suction air port, and a holding platform having a label contact surface that is passed through by a plurality of blow-off openings in fluid communication with the compressed air port and by a plurality of suction openings in fluid communication with the at least one suction air port, wherein the holding platform is rotatably supported at the base platform, wherein the base platform has a drive comprising an electric motor, and wherein the drive is adapted to rotatably drive the holding platform in order to rotate a label held at the label contact surface.
LABEL-SENSING METHOD
A label-sensing method includes the steps of aligning a sensor to an exposed portion of a strip of release paper that supports a row of labels, switching the sensor to a setting mode, determining whether an existing threshold is to be used for the roll of labels, transferring an existing threshold to the sensor if an existing threshold is to be used for the roll of labels, using the sensor to scan the exposed portion of the release paper and produce a sensed value if no existing threshold is to be used for the roll of labels, and calculating a threshold based on the sensed value, storing the threshold and transferring the threshold to the sensor.
Labelling machine and method for applying labels
The present invention relates to a labelling machine (1) for applying labels (2) to receptacles (3) comprising a web (11) having a succession of decorative patterns (15); a cutting unit (12) configured to cut said web (11) so as to obtain individual labels (2); a conveying means (14) configured to advance the individual labels (2); a control unit (17) configured to control a positioning of the web (11) in relation to a reference station (18); a determination device (19) configured to determine and/or detect a relative positioning of the decorative patterns (15) in relation to the reference station (18); and a removal device (20) configured to remove incorrect labels (2) that are determined and/or detected as a function of the relative positioning of the decorative patterns (15) in relation to the reference station (18). Also included is a method for applying labels (2).
LABEL WRAPPING DEVICE CONFIGURED TO WRAP LABEL AROUND CABLE AFTER LABEL IS COMPLETELY PEELED OFF RELEASE PAPER
A label wrapping device configured to warp a label around a cable includes a stripping part, a conveying roller, an insertion recess, a driving part and a controller. The conveying roller conveys the label peeled off a release paper by the stripping part in a conveying direction along a conveying path. The insertion recess is positioned downstream of the conveying roller in the conveying direction and is open toward the conveying path. The controller is configured to control the driving part: (a) to enable the conveying roller to convey the label peeled off the release paper in the conveying direction; and (b) to enable the conveying roller to halt conveyance of the label when an upstream end of the label becomes positioned downstream relative to the stripping part in the conveying direction and after the label covers at least a portion of an opening of the insertion recess.

Stamp application
A method and apparatus for applying stamps to a group of packages wherein the stamps are arranged in a predetermined pattern and the packages in the group are arranged in a different pattern, such that the stamps are applied to the packages uniformly and without waste using an apparatus having one or more carriages moveable in the x- and/or y-directions.
