A multi-purpose labeling system can include a conveyor, a visual analysis module, and a labeling assembly. The conveyor can move an object in a first direction. The visual analysis module can include an optical sensor directed toward the conveyor to generate image data depicting the object. The labeling assembly can be spaced from the conveyor in a second direction and include a printer, a labeling module, and an alignment assembly. The printer can print a label based on the image data, and the labeling module can have a labeling plate for receiving the label. The alignment assembly can include a lateral-motion module, a vertical-motion module, and a rotary module for moving the labeling module along or about the first, the second, and a third direction, and can place the labeling plate adjacent to an object surface.

Systems and methods for cutting label material
The present invention is an apparatus and method for cutting individual label strips from a roll of label web utilizing a cutter assembly. A label cutter comprises a cutter assembly for continuously and independently controlling the rotational speeds of a rotating cutter shaft, a stationary shaft, and a label feed roller is provided. The length of the label strip is controlled by the distinct speed of rotation of a stationary knife, the stationary knife is rotatably coupled to the stationary shaft. At least one cutter blade is operatively associated to the rotating cutter shaft for cutting the label web. The stationary knife rotates with a speed of rotation different from the speed of rotation of the cutter blade to produce longer or shorter label length strips. The frequency at which the cutter blade meets the stationary knife is inversely related to the length of the label strip that is produced during cut off.

LABEL DISPENSING MACHINE
A label dispensing machine includes a label curving cover, and arched label output mechanism for outputting a continuous series of label strip to an inner side of the label curving cover where the lead end of the continuous series of label strip is curved by the label curving cover into an integral arch-shaped label. The label dispensing machine is disposed at one side of a film roll/bags-on-a-roll on a reel so that the arch-shaped label can be cut off and adhered to a cut-off lead end of the film roll/bags-on-a-roll and partially exposed to the outside of the tear line of the film roll/bags-on-a-roll easily for allowing the user to quickly find and lift the cut-off lead end of the film roll/bags-on-a-roll.

FOIL TRANSFER DEVICE
A foil transfer device includes a foil transfer film cartridge, a housing, a display, a detector, and a controller. The foil transfer film cartridge includes a supply reel on which a foil film is wound. The housing allows the foil transfer film cartridge to be removably installed therein. The display is provided on the housing to display information. The detector detects foil film information in a state where the foil transfer film cartridge is installed in the housing. The foil film information includes at least one item selected from a group comprising a color of the foil, a width of the foil film, and a widthwise position of the foil film in a direction of the width of the foil film. The controller causes the foil film information detected by the detector to be shown on the display.
Label counting rewind machine
A label rewind machine counts labels on a label roll having an elongated web with labels attached. The rewind machine has an unwind spindle and a rewind spindle, and a first label sensor and a second label sensor. The label roll is placed on the unwind spindle, and the web is threaded through the first and second sensors and attached to the rewind spindle, creating a web path. As the web is drawn along the web path, each sensor detects the presence or absence of a label on the web proximate that sensor and generates an electronic signal. Together, the sensors generate a specific quadrature sequence dictated by the presence of labels on the web. If the detected sequence mimics a selected sequence, the rewind machine records a unitary count of one label. The label count is indexed by one each time the rewind machine detects the selected sequence.
