One time use bottle
A one-time use bottle. The bottle is filled with a drinkable liquid and then a liner is sealed on top of the bottle. A lid contains lid assembly threads which cooperate with neck assembly threads located on the neck of the bottle which enable the lid to be screwed onto the bottle in a sealed position. The lid also contains lid opening threads which cooperate with neck opening threads located on the neck of the bottle which enable the lid to be screwed into the neck further thereby cutting into the liner and exposing the drinkable liquid. The drinkable liquid can now be drank via a spout in the lid. The lid cannot be removed from the neck and hence once used, the apparatus would have no further use and would be disposed of.
Lightweight polymeric container finish
A polymeric container including a base, a body, a finish, finish threads, and a tamper lip. The finish threads are at an outer surface of the finish, and are configured to cooperate with closure threads of a closure to secure the closure to the finish. The tamper lip extends from the outer surface of the finish, and is configured to replace the support flange during handling, and to cooperate with a tamper band of the closure. A recess is below the tamper lip. The recess retains the tamper band below the tamper lip when the closure is removed from cooperation with the finish. A gripper pad is between the finish threads and the tamper lip. The gripper pad is configured to cooperate with a gripper for grasping the finish.
Portable Feeding Bottle
A portable container, which contains a lower container body for storing a liquid, and an upper container body detachably connected to the lower container body. The upper container body adapted to store solid substance. The upper container body further contains a user-configurable opening device which is switchable between a first state and a second state. In the first state the opening device prevents the solid substance in the upper container body from falling into the lower container body. In the second state the opening device allows the solid substance to fall into the lower container body in order to mix with the liquid. The portable container not only separates the milk powder and warm water before brewing, but it also maintains the water at an appropriate temperature and to maintain the dryness of the milk powder. The warm water and the milk powder can then be mixed at any time to brew the milk suitable for drinking.
Protective covers for upstanding containers of liquid
A protective cover that closely overlies an exterior surface of an upstanding container for holding liquid has integrally formed portions that are separately removable from the container. Each of two substantially adjacent removable cover portions preferably snugly wraps substantially adjacent surface areas of the container's exterior, and is releasably coupled by a narrow tear-off strip portion of the cover that also perimetrically wraps the container's exterior. One removable cover portion preferably helps to hold a cap in a closed orientation on the container's neck. Another removable cover portion preferably underlies a bottom part of the container's exterior surface, and thereby helps to hold the protective cover in place on the container. Yet another removable cover portion preferably wraps and grips a major part of the container's upstanding sidewall, and forms a disposable funnel when removed from the container's exterior.
SPOUT ASSEMBLY
Presented are a spout assembly, bottle and a method of forming. An exemplary spout assembly includes a tubular spout, the cylindrical spout having an endless wall defining a passage, the endless wall having a top open edge fluidly connecting the passage, a bottom open edge fluidly connecting the hollow passage, and at least three vertical ribs extending inwardly from the endless wall within the passage. The spout assembly further includes a tilted trough extending from the bottom open edge circumscribing the tubular spout, the trough having at least one opening located such that fluid flow is directed toward the at least one opening. The spout assembly still further includes a cylindrical side wall extending from the tilted trough.
THREADED TAMPER EVIDENCE FINISH AND CLOSURE FOR CONTAINER
A tamper evidence closure is provided for rotatably engaging with a finish of a container to seal contents within the interior of the container. A multiplicity of thin connections attach a tamper evidence band to a circumference of the tamper evidence closure. A segmented cam extends around the circumference of the tamper evidence band. An angled lower surface of the cam facilitates passing the tamper evidence band over a tamper evidence ledge of the finish during assembly of the tamper evidence closure onto the container. An upper surface of the cam engages with the tamper evidence ledge to break the thin connections and retain the tamper evidence band positioned on the finish during loosening of the tamper evidence closure. Multiple overhang portions above the cam press against an upper portion of the tamper evidence ledge to ensure that the tamper evidence band remains engaged with the tamper evidence ledge.
JAR ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure is related to jars and containers and, more particularly, to the manufacture of readily recyclable jars and containers.
An exemplary jar is comprised of an aluminum base and a first aluminum inner cup provided with a first cavity defined with the aluminum base. An outer thread is provided about an exterior surface of the aluminum base, and an aluminum lid with a second aluminum inner cup is provided within a second cavity defined within the aluminum lid. An inner thread mateable with the outer thread is provided about an interior surface of the second aluminum inner cup.
A method of manufacturing readily recyclable jars can comprise providing a primary metal material and optionally applying a precoating to the primary metal material. The primary metal material may be formed into a jar with mating threads and a lid with mating threads. The primary metal material may optionally be finished. A liner may optionally be inserted. The lid and jar are then assembled, and a plastic cup may optionally be installed.
CONTAINER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A plastic, hot-fillable container is provided. The container comprises a blow molded body defining a longitudinal axis. The body including a base and a neck having at least one rib disposed about at least a portion of a circumference of the neck and transverse to the axis, and at least one angled thread. The at least one rib defining a cross section having a first portion and a second angled portion. Container systems and methods of manufacturing containers are disclosed.
Method, device and system for filling pharmaceutical containers
In one general aspect, a method for filling multiple containers with a pharmaceutical product is disclosed, which comprises decontaminating sealed nested materials in a transfer chamber, removing from the sealed nested materials one or both of a container nest holding the multiple containers and a closure nest holding multiple closures, transferring from the transfer chamber to a controlled environment enclosure the removed nest, aseptically filling the containers with the pharmaceutical product, and closing the containers with the multiple closures. The nests are configured to allow multiple closures and containers to be simultaneously aligned concentrically, and closed simultaneously. Spring-loaded retaining structures on the closure nest allow it to releasably retain multiple closures above the corresponding multiple containers. In some embodiments the spring-loaded features are monolithically integrated with the closure nest. The product may be lyophilized in partially sealed containers while the sealing closures are releasably retained by the closure nest.
Lightweight plastic container and preform
A plastic container is provided that includes a hollow body portion including a lower supporting base portion; a sidewall portion extending upwardly from the base portion; and a neck portion extending upwardly from the sidewall portion. The neck portion includes a support flange having an upper and lower surface, at least one thread, and a dispensing opening at the top of the neck portion. In embodiments, a closure may be provided to form an assembly. In embodiments, the container may be comprised of PET, the weight of the neck portion from the lower surface of the support flange to a top of the dispensing opening may be 3.0 grams or less, and/or the vertical distance from the top of the dispensing opening to the lower surface of the support flange may be 0.580 inches or less. A preform and method for making a container are also disclosed.
