Disclosed is a container for a foodstuff preferably comprising a lid (12) and a secondary compartment, the container being convertible between an at least partially collapsed configuration and an erected configuration; the container being washable and re-usable and wholly or substantially formed of a synthetic plastics material which is foldable and impermeable.

Methods and apparatus for removably or irremovably interconnectable building block containers such as those capable of initially storing consumable items such as food and drink. After consumption of the food or drink, the cavity containing same may be cleaned and/or refilled with consumable or non-consumable items. The building block containers are utilized as building block toys and may be manufactured or otherwise designed to be collectable. In one aspect, the container connectors are nearly identical such that any one connector may mate with any other connector. In another aspect, the connectors are nearly identical but the orientations of each connector vary to allow mating to occur when the connectors are properly oriented. In another aspect, the container is a cube juice box with connectors on all four corners of all six sides of the container. A frame for holding a juice container may also be utilized.

The cases are assembled or in disassembled from a joined flat space-saving configuration to a functioning case and vice-versa. The sides of the cases are erected progressively by hand by interlocking self sealing reciprocating channel and channel engaging members elements at the corners. The panels also disassemble progressively by being manually pulled apart. When folded into a flat storage or shipping configuration, the panels stay together, resisting unfolding by virtue of snaps which are either molded into the panels or bonded to them. The carrying cases are resistant to water, dirt, bacteria, molds, allergens, and inclement weather.

A mould for forming a collapsible container from an expandable material, the container comprising, at least a base and two pairs of a side walls extending at right angles from opposing sides of the base, the mould comprising: a first mould member and a second mould member movable with respect to each other between an open and a closed moulding position to define a mould cavity; and a plurality of anvils mounted on a rear surface of at least one of the first mould member and/or second mould member, each anvil being movable so as to be extended into the mould cavity so as to form one or more hinges in the expandable material at predetermined locations within the mould cavity; wherein the mould cavity defined by the first mould member and the second mould member is a three-dimensional representation of an inside-out configuration of the assembled container.

What is disclosed is a container for transporting and storing goods, having a floor and side walls extending from the floor. In accordance with the invention, at least one of the side walls or a part thereof is formed by a grid-like structure which is extensible and compressible or able to be pulled apart and squeezed together at least in one direction and within the side wall plane so as to demarcate or to close the container toward the side in a first position and to release the container toward the side in a second position.

A foldable container and a cleaning tool assembly are provided. The foldable container includes a foldable side wall disposed annularly. The foldable side wall includes two adjacent connecting parts connected through a flexible part. When the foldable container is unfolded, the connecting parts rotate around a fold part on the flexible part. A first abutting part and a second abutting part are respectively disposed on two sides of the fold part and are arranged on the flexible part or the connecting parts. When the foldable container is in an unfolded state, the first abutting part abuts against the second abutting part. The cleaning tool assembly includes a cleaning tool and the foldable container. When the foldable container is unfolded to be used, the first abutting part abuts against the second abutting part.

The invention provides a foldable container wherein: the container comprises: a base; a pair of opposing first side walls; a pair of opposing second side walls; each of the side walls is attached to the base by a separate hinge joint; the foldable container is made from a polymer; further comprising: a pair of foldable flaps, each attached to an upper edge of each of the first side walls by a hinge joint; repeatable locking mechanism configured to lock each of the foldable flaps against at least one side walls; wherein at least one first side wall is each attached to an adjacent second side wall by a mechanical transmission; and, wherein each foldable flap clamps at least one mechanical transmission against at least one side wall, by the repeatable locking mechanism in the deployed state.
