A container for raising and storing wine, which includes an external metal enclosure having at least one body in the overall shape of a hollow cylinder and a rear wall fixed to the longitudinal rear end of the body in order to close it off, an internal wooden enclosure that is able to contain the wine, including at least one body in the overall shape of a hollow cylinder and a front wall and a rear wall that close off the body in a leaktight manner, the internal enclosure being inserted into the external enclosure with a tight fit until the rear wall of the internal enclosure butts against the rear wall of the external enclosure, and clamping elements that exert a longitudinal force that tends to clamp the internal enclosure against the external enclosure.

A container vessel is described that includes a resiliently deformable wall having a surface area where a majority of the surface area is occupied by a plurality of rigid panes connected by a resilient flexible membrane so that the wall is capable of recovering to an original shape after substantial deformation in either or both a vertical dimension and a horizontal dimension by the application of external pressure and. The primary structural components include: a matrix of rigid panes, each of which is separated by, and connected by, a resilient flexible frame.

A housing includes: a housing body that contains at least one electromechanical or mechanical component, the housing body including a front plate and a pair of side plates, the plates being connected to a bottom plate in such a manner that the housing body includes an opening; a cover for closing the opening; and a gasket interposed between an edge portion of the housing body and an edge portion of the cover to tightly close an inside of the housing body. An edge portion of each of the side plates has a curved shape.

A barrel includes a non-wooden body having a sidewall defining an interior and terminating at a first open end. A flange extends from and about the sidewall adjacent the first end. A first head assembly includes a wooden head removably secured to the body at the first open end to seal the first open end. A first head retainer includes a top wall and a skirt wall extending therefrom and terminating in a securement structure projecting outwardly from the skirt wall. The top wall and skirt wall define a space to receive the first wooden head therein. A plurality of fasteners extends between the securement structure and the flange for securing the first head to the first end to cover the first open end.

A beverage container system may include a vessel having an interior volume for containing a beverage and shell having an interior volume for removably coupling vessel therein. The shell may include an inner wall, an outer sidewall, and a sealed volume between the inner wall and the outer wall. The sealed volume may be at a vacuum pressure. The present invention relates to a barrel lid, such as a wood wine barrel lid, that inhibits and withstands warping and/or deformation. In one embodiment, the anti-warping wine barrel head comprises a plurality of adjacent slats, a plurality of staves where at least one stave disposed between each pair of adjacent slats, a plurality of grooves disposed on a top and/or bottom surface of the barrel head where each groove is oriented at an angle with respect to the plurality of slats, and a plurality of rods disposed in the plurality of top and/or bottom surface grooves where at least one rod is disposed in each of the plurality of top and/or bottom surface grooves. In some embodiments, staves are double flanged or rectangular, and rods have a half-round cross-section or triangular cross-section. In other embodiments, a gasket may span the periphery of the barrel lid, for example, along a lip thereof. In some embodiments, a locking ring is utilized to secure wine barrel lid to the container or drum.

The invention relates to a container for preserved food comprising a metal body having at least one end closed hermetically by a bottom formed by a flexible film.

A container system including a base including a bottom surface and a wall arranged around a perimeter of the bottom surface. A lid configured to cover the base, and an insert removeably disposable in the base such that at least a portion of an exterior surface of the insert contacts the wall of the base. The insert including a first hole that extends through a top of the insert so as to define a first receptacle. The insert including a second hole that extends through the top of the insert proximate to an outside perimeter of the insert to define a second receptacle.
