A universal handle attachment tool comprises a body having a plurality of tool sides each having a container interface surface operable to engage a face of a particular container, and having a container handle interface slot operable to receive a handle of the container. The slot can comprise a keyed profile operable to interface and lock the handle attachment tool to the container. The container interface surface extends in opposing directions beyond the slot to facilitate distribution of one or more loads acting between the face of the container and the handle attachment tool to facilitate manipulation of the container. A container for storage of at least one object comprises a container body defined by a plurality of sidewalls, and a recessed portion formed a sidewall defining a recessed cavity. The container has a handle spanning the recessed cavity, whereby the recessed cavity facilitates clearance of at least one finger of a user upon grasping the handle.

A packaging fastener includes a base member and a key member. The base member includes a first cylindrical part inserted through overlapped through holes of packaging materials. The key member includes a second cylindrical part inserted into the first cylindrical part of the base member. By inserting the first cylindrical part of the base member through the through holes and then inserting the second cylindrical part into the first cylindrical part, the packaging materials are coupled together. The key member has an engaging part. The base member has an engaged part. The engagement part has an elastically deformable supporting part and a lock claw. In a state where the lock claw is engaged with the engaged part, by elastically deforming the supporting part, the lock claw is displaced to a direction separate away from the engaged part to release an engagement of the lock claw with the engaged part.

A packaging device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The packaging device includes: a bottom plate (1); a side plate (2) fixed to a surface of the bottom plate (1), the bottom plate (1) and the side plate (2) forming a containing cavity through joint enclosure; and a supporting piece (3) in the bottom plate (1). The bottom plate (1) completely wraps the supporting piece (3). An extending direction of the supporting piece (3) is roughly parallel to the surface of the bottom plate (1). A material of the supporting piece (3) is different from that of the bottom plate (1), and a strength of the supporting piece (3) is greater than that of the bottom plate (1).

A storage basket used for storing and displaying food products and packages in a refrigerator or freezer unit may include a single-material first portion including a bottom wall and an upright wall that extends away from the bottom wall. The bottom wall and the upright wall are imperforate, thereby creating a solid barrier to transfer and fall-through of materials contained in the storage basket. The storage basket may also include a single-material second portion coupled to and extending from the upright wall, and the second portion may include a plurality of perforations. A method of allowing access to a receptacle for securing a package includes: sensing an opening and closing of the lid; activating, in response to determining the lid is sufficiently closed, the lock mechanism to transition from the unlocked state to the locked state; scanning an email message in a user's email account to identify a reference or tracking number of a second package; parsing the email message to obtain a delivery code; receiving entry of the delivery code; activating the lock mechanism based on entry of the delivery code to transition from the locked state to the unlocked state; sensing a second opening and closing of the lid; activating the lock mechanism to transition from the unlocked state to the locked state; receiving information corresponding to entry of an access code; activating the lock mechanism to transition from the locked state to the unlocked state.

A packaging container comprises a first portion formed of a first material or material combination mainly consisting of plastic, a second portion formed of a second material or material combination mainly consisting of a fiber based packaging laminate, and a pouring opening formed in the first portion. The second portion is provided with an arrangement for separating the entire first portion from the second portion.

According to one aspect, an improved packaging apparatus having first panels oriented in a first direction and second panels oriented in a second direction. The first and second panels cooperate to define a plurality of cells into which parts can be received. At least some of the first and second panels are made from reclaimed waste material. The waste material could be a foam board, such as is used in the manufacturing of headliners for automotive vehicles.
