A plurality of peripheral supports are provided at or near the peripheral edge of the lower surface and extend upwardly therefrom to the upper load supporting surface so that the upper load supporting surface and the lower surface are spaced from each other and define sides of the pallet. Each side of the pallet has a first opening and a second opening which are defined by the upper load supporting surface, the lower surface, and a pair of peripheral supports. Inclined surfaces are provided on the lower surface.

A phase change material is disposed in the phase change material compartment. The temperature indicator indicates a thermal state of the pallet.

A pallet assembly includes an upper deck having a first plurality of ribs and a second plurality of ribs. The first plurality of ribs each include a first opening therethrough that opens downward. The second plurality of ribs each include a second opening therethrough that opens upward. The first openings and the second openings aligned to define a channel. A pallet includes a deck having an opening therethrough, such that product can be removed through the opening from a box loaded on the deck of a pallet. A plurality of columns support the deck. The box may be supported on the deck over the opening. The bottom wall of the box may be opened though the opening in the deck. The items can then be removed from the box through the opening through the deck without removing the box from the pallet. Optionally, fasteners may secure flaps of the box in corners of the deck of a pallet. According to another feature, a brace having an elongated body portion can be secured to an opening of the pallet, such that the elongated body portion abuts goods that are supported on the deck.

A rack for supporting data center equipment has a frame including vertical wall supports are connected to a base and extending upwardly therefrom. The base defines a first and second openings extending in a lateral direction for receiving a fork of a lifting machine along the lateral direction. The base includes: a first upper wall and a second upper wall defining in part the first opening and the second opening; a lower wall disposed between the upper walls along a depth direction of the rack and extending vertically lower than the upper walls; and two side walls extending vertically from the lower wall to a respective one of the upper walls. The two side walls and the lower wall together define a middle cavity. Each of the two side walls defines a third opening and a fourth opening for receiving the fork of the lifting machine along a depth direction.
