A shock and vibration isolation assembly for absorbing the energies generated from movement of a product carried thereon includes a pallet or a lower panel having an upper surface, an upper panel above the upper surface, the upper panel configured to support the product or a pallet thereon. The assembly further includes a plurality of flexible visco-elastic rings affixed to at least one of said upper surface of said pallet or lower panel and a facing surface of the upper panel. A frame member disposed between and affixed to the upper surface of the pallet or lower panel and the upper panel to seal the space therebetween. The frame member encircles the plurality of flexible rings and is formed of a resilient substantially liquid-impermeable material.

A method of converting a shipping pallet for use as a building component for a environmentally green super-structure and green infrastructure including a range of building types from tent structures to homes medical facilities, classrooms, small commercial, and small industry. In one example, a hinged pallet frame is attached to an existing pallet to form a construction panel, and multiple panels are assembled and pivoted to form structures. A kit for converting a pallet comprises tubular frame elements, hinge connector elements, and leg frame elements. In other examples, new pallet-like panels are created with foam core, stress skin, and protective frames that facilitate interconnection.

An inventory tracking system includes a tracking device coupled to a transport structure that is designed to carry items. The tracking device includes a processor as well as several modules operatively connected to the processor for determining the location of the transport structure. The tracking device determines location using a short-range communication module when the tracking device is within a storage facility. When outside of the storage facility, the tracking device determines a location of the transport structure using a satellite navigation module. A mobile communication module is used to determine the location of the transport structure if neither the short-range communication module nor the satellite navigation module is successful.

The shipping stand can also include mounts that are also a functional gauge for checking the specifications of the part. A method of manufacture which includes employing a shipping stand having multiple mounts for multiple parts, the multiple parts mounted to the shipping stand so that the first part needed in the manufacturing process can be removed from the shipping stand without having to remove the other parts attached to the shipping stand. A first part is mounted to a first set of attachment points and a second part is mounted or attached to a second set of attachment points. The first part corresponds to the first part needed in an assembly process.

The second portion is movable relative to the first, such that the second portion overlies the first portion. A method of unloading articles from a pallet including arranging the loaded pallet with the second portion of the platform in the second position, unloading articles from the first portion of the platform, shifting the second portion of the platform to the second position, and unloading articles from the second portion of the platform. A method of loading articles on a pallet, including arranging the pallet with the second portion of the platform in the second position, loading articles onto the second portion of the platform, shifting the second portion of the platform to the first position, and loading articles onto the first portion of the platform.
