Stackable containers with support band
A food carrying system comprises a plurality of food service items including at least one container and optionally one or more plates, drink carriers, and/or trays. At least one of the food service items includes opposing strap openings formed in an edge, encircling flange, or opposed flange handles thereof. A support band encircles the stack, passing through the strap openings, and ends thereof are affixed together to stabilize the stack and in embodiments providing a hand-hold for carrying the stack. The band can further extend through a strap opening provided in a separate handle, so that the stack can be carried using the handle. Strap openings can be provided on lids and/or bases of the containers. Strap openings can be closed ovals, or can be C-shaped, having open outer edges. Band ends can be joined by adhesive, hook-and-loop, knot tying, stapling, snaps, buttons, etc.
Stackable container having overhanging cap
A stackable container, including a body and a cap threadingly engageable with a neck portion of the body and having a top portion formed with a depression for selectively oriented snap-registered engagement with a base portion of a counterpart of the body, the cap further including handle projections and a skirt. Opposite stop structures prevent rotation of the cap relative to the body beyond predetermined threaded engagement; a detent releasably captures the body in the predetermined threaded engagement. A base portion of the body having inclined side walls facilitates rotation of the body with respect to the cap. The skirt extends downwardly more than an axial length of the neck portion for guiding the body into alignment with the cap. A consumable product such as a cosmetic can extend into the cap from the body.
Nesting container and nesting container assembly
An interlocking or mating container and container system are presented herein. In particular, the system includes a plurality of adjacently disposed (side-by-side, end-to-end and stacked) containers that are dimensioned to maximize the available space on a pallet or in a shipping unit. The containers are configured to include a plurality of interlocking or mating portions such as one or more side flanges, teeth or projections, a handle engaging portion or channel, one or more wheel assembly receiving portions, or one or more foot receiving portions. The Interlocking or mating portions are configured to matingly engage or abut corresponding portions of an adjacent container and at least partially restrict movement there between.
Module articulation system
Provided is a utility module including a base portion and a top portion and having a front side and a back side with a locking path extending between the front side and the back side. The top portion is configured at a back portion thereof with at least one back locking bar and at a front portion thereof with at least one front locking bar extending parallel to said back locking bar. The base of the utility module is configured at a back portion thereof with a back bar coupling recess facing towards the back side and having a back under-bar arresting surface and a front bar locking arrangement comprising a front facing barrier wall and a locking lever comprising an arresting tongue extendable in front of said barrier wall and having a front under-bar arresting surface.
Nesting container and nesting container assembly
An interlocking or mating container and container system are presented herein. In particular, the system includes a plurality of adjacently disposed (side-by-side, end-to-end and stacked) containers that are dimensioned to maximize the available space on a pallet, for example, a 463-L Pallet, HCU-6/E Pallet or other pallet. The containers include enlarged wheels, one or more support feet, and a handle assembly. The containers are configured to include a plurality of interlocking or mating portions such as one or more wheel assembly receiving portions, one or more foot receiving portions, outer extensions or engaging portions, and a handle engaging portion. The Interlocking or mating portions are configured to matingly engage or abut corresponding portions of an adjacent container and at least partially restrict movement there between.
Overpack salvage drum and related methods
An overpack salvage drum including a drum body and a lid. A bottom wall and side wall of the drum body cooperate to define an interior of the drum body. The lid is configured to close an open top of the drum body. The lid includes at least two independent lid threads to engage with corresponding independent drum threads provided on the drum body. The lid includes a plurality of alternating castellations having a flat inner facing side and castellations having an arcuate inner facing side, which can be interdigitated with castellations on another lid when two lids are stacked together, or can be used to lock with a drum body to rotationally secure a drum body relative to the lid when in a stacked arrangement. The lids include lugs and recesses, or rings that allow for secure stacking of the lids.
Container with pivotable side latch
A container constructed and arranged to be connected to other containers is provided. In an embodiment, the container may comprise a container portion with an opening into an interior space in which articles to be transported can be stored; a lid for closing the opening; a handle for carrying the container; a front latch for securing the lid to the container portion; and a pivotable side latch, pivotally connected to the lid, that is moveable between a retaining position and a storage position. The pivotable side latch may be configured to engage a retaining structure of another container when the pivotable side latch is in the retaining position. The lid may comprise a depression, and the pivotable side latch may be further configured to be in the depression when the pivotable side latch is in the storage position. The container portion may comprise a retaining structure with an upward-facing lip that is configured to engage a pivotable side latch of a further container to facilitate securement of the container with the further container.
