Method for provisioning a container with food
Method for providing a container with food, the method comprising: providing a container for infant formula food, adding the food, sealing the container with a gas-tight membrane seal, adding an inner scannable code on the gas-tight membrane seal, closing the container with a tamper-proof closure means, so that the inner scannable code is not scannable without breaking a part of the tamper-proof closure means, and storing the inner scannable code in a database.
Portion capsule having an identifier
A portion capsule for producing a beverage includes a base element having a cavity in which a beverage raw material is provided and which is closed by a membrane fastened to the base element.
Alcohol concentrate filling systems and methods of use thereof
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for inducing a substantially non-hazardous atmosphere encompassing a beverage container during filling, such as filling a small volume container with an alcohol product. A multi-tiered approach can be used to reduce the combustibility of the atmosphere encompassing the beverage container. For example, a ventilation module can be provided and configured to dilute vapors of the beverage liquid. Further, a chilling module can be provided and configured to reduce or maintain a reduced temperature of the beverage liquid. Further, a capture module can be provided and configured to dilute stray beverage liquid. The ventilation module, the chilling module, and the capture module can cooperate to define a non-hazardous zone encompassing the beverage container. This can allow non-hazardous rated electrical components to operate proximate and within the atmosphere associating the alcohol product during filling.
SECURABLE CLIP
A securable clip includes a first elongated rectangular portion and a second elongated rectangular portion connected along a common edge. The clip includes at least one locking peg, at least one receiving hole configured to receive the at least one locking peg, and a frangible portion. The frangible portion provides a visual indication that the clip has been opened. The releasing of the locking peg prevents the clip from being reclosed, reused, or sealed again.
Capsule, system and method for preparing a beverage by centrifugation
Capsule for the preparation of a beverage comprising a container and a beverage ingredient contained therein, wherein the container comprises a code adapted for being identified or read by external reading means, wherein the code is arranged on the container to be read while the capsule is rotated around an axis of rotation traversing the capsule.
PACKAGING PART, PACKAGING ASSEMBLY, AND CHIP READ WRITE METHOD USING PACKAGING PART
The present disclosure provides a packaging part, a packaging assembly and a chip read write method using the packaging part. The packaging part includes a hollow accommodation part, where a size and a shape of the hollow accommodation part is suitable for accommodating a part to-be-packaged; and the part to-be-packaged includes a data storage part; and an operable part, where the data storage part and/or the part to-be-packaged in the hollow accommodation is capable of being operated from an outside of the packaging part through the operable part.
Bundled product and system and method for forming the same
A direct-to-consumer heat shrunk bundled product made up of a plurality of paper product rolls each individually packaged by a first package material and arranged relative to one another so as to form a bundle, the bundle being packaged by a second package material, wherein a substantial portion of the inner surface of the second package material is in contact with the first package material of the plurality of paper product rolls and is nonstick relative to the first package material. The bundle includes fused end seals so that the bundle does not include open gussets that might otherwise catch on machinery during sorting and shipping. The packaging material and/or wrapper may include laser energy absorbing material or adhesive.
PARTICULATE AEROGEL MATERIAL KIT FOR GRIP ENHANCEMENT
Particulate aerogel material kit for grip enhancement, and related systems and methods, are generally described. Certain embodiments are related to interfaces comprising human skin, a layer of particulate aerogel material, and a solid surface. Methods of creating such interfaces, packaging the particulate aerogel material, and applications thereof (including kits for grip enhancement) are also described.
Track and trace packaging and systems
Track and trace packaging is disclosed which may also be damage indicating. Track and trace functionality may be incorporated on, in or near the packaging at various stages of a supply chain. A damage indicating material can be incorporated into a variety of packaging substrates, which may change color when exposed to oxygen, excessive heat and/or excessive pressure. An anti-counterfeiting taggant material may be used to provide track and trace capabilities. Exemplary products with which the present track and trace packaging may be used include packaged condoms, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, cannabis and the like.
SYSTEM FOR MAKING BEVERAGES
A system for making beverages comprising a brewing unit (2) and a capsule (4) containing a powdered food substance (5), the capsule (4) comprising a recognition element (11) placed inside an outer casing (6), wherein the brewing unit (2) comprises a first piercing unit (17), a lighting device (26) configured to light the recognition element (11), a detecting device (13) configured to detect a return light radiation from the recognition element (11) and an electronic control unit programmed to execute a comparing step, wherein real data are compared with saved reference data and to manage brewing in a different way if the real data match reference data or do not, compared with if the comparing step indicates that the real data do not match the reference data, wherein the reference data comprise one or more combinations of division of the total intensity received in a main band, into a plurality of separate secondary bands of wavelengths, which are included in the main band.
