The sidewall retains a movable panel that moves in opposite longitudinal directions toward the opposite open ends to increase or decrease a storage volume. The movable panel may include a manual sealing and locking mechanism. The container also includes a cover that covers one of the open ends and is openable or removable for access to contents. A one-way valve in the cover, sidewall, or movable panel permits evacuation of excess air from the storage volume.

Air purge device for an airless liquid product dispenser having a container equipped with means for sampling the product. The device has a bleed ring that has a deformable lip seal accommodated inside a protective part designed to be inserted into the container. The deformation of the lip when mounting the air purge device in the container causes the air to be purged from the container.

The sealing device includes a substantially rigid center body and an elastically deformable seal member attached to the center body. The substantially rigid center body has a top surface, a bottom surface, and a peripheral edge extending between the top surface and the bottom surface. The container system includes a container with an interior cavity defined by at least one side wall and a base wall. A composite lid of a cylindrical container includes an outer metal lid having an integral top wall and sidewall and an inner plastic lid having a top wall and sidewall fitted inside the outer metal lid such that a free end of the sidewall of the inner plastic lid extends beyond a free end of the sidewall of the outer metal lid. The composite lid can be fitted on a base having an integral bottom wall and sidewall such that the sidewall of the inner plastic lid frictionally engages the sidewall of the base. The outer metal lid can be formed by stamping sheet metal, the inner plastic lid can be formed by molding a polymer material and the base can be formed by molding a polymer material. The outer metal lid can be adhesively bonded or mechanically fitted to the inner plastic lid.

A piston for dispensing a flowable component from a cartridge includes a piston having a base body and a venting element. The base body has a passage connecting a component side and an actuation side and has a passage opening. The venting element has an internal connection element and a pin which is partly arranged in the passage opening of the base body. The internal connection element and the pin are connected by a spring element. The pin of the venting element can adopt a sealing position and an aerating position. To enable a secure sealing, the spring element is configured such that it includes an angle of a maximum of 80 with the axial direction in the sealing position of the pin at a connection line to the internal connection element in the direction of an actuation side.

The neck part includes a discharge portion protruding upward from an upper end of the neck part, having a first threaded portion and a first discharge groove on the outer circumferential surface, and discharging food and beverage or air to the inside of the container, a first flow guiding portion formed to be inclined upward in the opposite direction to the first discharge groove at a position spaced apart from the discharge portion, and a first reservoir portion formed between the discharge portion and the first flow guiding portion to hold the discharged food and beverage.

An injection device able to evacuate air bubbles trapped with injectable liquid includes a needle tube, a push rod slidable installed in the needle tube and a piston secured on one end of the push rod. The piston includes a main body and a cover, the main body defines a through hole and an exhaust passage in air communication with the through hole. The cover is secured on the main body to shield the through hole and the exhaust passage, and the cover defines an exhaust hole in air communication with one end of the exhaust passage to allow gas but not the liquid to escape from under the piston.

The cavity opening is positioned within the channel of the cartridge, and the cavity base is positioned external to the cartridge. The piston tube has an extended end, and is positioned at least partially within the channel. The extended end is positioned within the cavity.
