User-friendly tamper-resistant/tamper-evident container-seal system for containers of consumer goods and methods of use
The inventive disclosures described herein pertain to an improved tamper-resistant/tamper-evident (TE) seal for containers of consumer/commercial product-containment vessels (such as, for example, prescription bottles, condiment bottles, etc.) that enables a user, and in particular older persons, to better grip and/or exert leverage to more-easily and reliably open such containers. In one embodiment of the improved TE seal, a typical prior-art seal configuration that features an inner seal with a small overlapping flexible pull-tab layer is improved by affixing the pull-tab to another substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can insert the pull-tab member between two of the user's fingers wherein the two user fingers are also disposed between the inner seal and the substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can more easily exert leverage/force to open the container that employs the tamper-resistant seal. This configuration is generally referred to as a “T-tab” configuration.
IMPROVED USER-FRIENDLY TAMPER-RESISTANT/TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER-SEAL SYSTEM FOR CONTAINERS OF CONSUMER GOODS AND METHODS OF USE
The inventive disclosures described herein pertain to an improved tamper-resistant/tamper-evident (TE) seal for containers of consumer-product-containment vessels (such as, for example, prescription bottles, condiment bottles, etc.) that enables a user to better grip and/or exert force/leverage to more-easily and reliably open such containers. Specifically, it features an improved seal-removal assembly that provides a collapsible finger-receiving aperture that allows a user to insert at least one user finger (or an elongated tool, such as a writing utensil), and exert upward force to breach the container seal.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF AERATED DRINKS
Apparatus (10) for the preparation of aerated drinks, comprising: an aerator stage (20) comprising: a removable aerator bottle (30) defining a chamber (32) for receiving a liquid to be aerated; an aerator bottle interface (40) operative to engage the removable aerator bottle (30) and seal the chamber (32) thereof; a gas inlet line (60) operative to fluidly connect a gas source (50) to the aerator bottle interface (40); and a gas supply mechanism (70) for controlling supply of gas from the gas source (50) to the aerator bottle interface (40) via the gas inlet line (60); characterised by: an aerated liquid dispenser outlet (110); a liquid outlet line (120) operative to fluidly connect the aerator bottle interface (40) to the aerated liquid dispenser outlet (110) to allow aerated liquid to flow from the chamber (32) of the removable aerator bottle (30) to the aerated liquid dispenser outlet (110); and a liquid flow controller (130) for controlling discharge of aerated liquid from the removable aerator bottle (30) to the aerated liquid dispenser outlet (110) via the liquid outlet line (120).

Container
A container of a plastic material has a container body (1) for receiving a fluid and a neck part (7) adjoining the container body (1). The neck part (7) has at its free end a discharge opening for the fluid closed by a head part (11) and covered by a cap (19). The cap (19) interacts with individual blocking elements via a retaining ring (21), starting from an attachment position of the cap (19). Rotary motions in both directions of rotation are permitted along a predetermined path of travel. During a further screw-on motion beyond the predetermined path of travel, a part of second blocking elements completely passes over assigned first blocking elements, and in so doing the head part (11) is penetrated by the opening part of the cap (19). During a subsequent unscrewing motion of the cap (19) for the purpose of releasing the discharge opening, the retaining ring (21) is disengaged from the cap (19) and, in the process, is secured on the neck part (7) at least temporarily against rotation in the unscrewing direction by at least one blocking element.

CONTAINER FOR LIQUIDS
A container for liquids that allows the contents to be emptied out quickly without spattering or gurgling. A sealed closure within the neck of the container can be opened by pulling a ring on the bottom of the container to open both an air inlet in the bottom of the container and the closure in the neck of the container. A connecting rod within the container opens the closure in the neck of the container in response to opening of the air inlet closure at the bottom of the container, to allow the contents of the container to flow out through the neck, while air enters into the container through the opening at the bottom of the container.
A CAP FOR A FOOD PACKAGE
Disclosed herein is a cap configured to interact with a neck. In some embodiments, the cap comprises an inner wall portion and at least one cutting element projecting radially inwards from the inner wall portion. In some embodiments, the cutting element has a hinge portion connected to the inner wall portion, and a cutting portion extending radially inwards from the hinge portion, wherein a first axial thickness of the hinge portion is between 35 and 80% of a second axial thickness of the cutting portion. Also disclosed herein is an assembly comprising the cap and a spout having a membrane closing a tubular member of the spout.
A CAP AND NECK ASSEMBLY FOR A FOOD PACKAGE
A cap and neck assembly for closing an upper end of a package (10) is provided. The neck (20) is formed by a tubular member (110) being provided with external threads (22), and an upper tubular portion (120) extending from the tubular member (110) and being releasably attached to a membrane (150) closing an upper end of said upper portion (120). The cap has a lower portion the threads (22) of the neck (20), and an upper portion (33) being provided with at least one cutting element (50) configured to separate the membrane (150) from the neck (20). When the cap (30) is threaded onto the neck (20) to its axial end position for the first time prior to separating the membrane (150) from the neck (20), the axial distance between a cutting edge (54) of the cutting element (50) and the membrane flange (170) is less than 1 mm.
CONTAINER
