Stackable tote and lid combination
A stackable tote and lid combination has a lid with a main body and a rim. The rim has a wall with corner bodies, where the wall is spaced apart from a major surface. Each corner body has an upper surface with three outer side surfaces. Each first outer side surface is attached to a respective second outer side surface and each second outer side surface is attached to a respective third outer side surface. Each first, second, and third outer side surface is positioned between and connected to the upper surface of the respective corner body and the major surface of the main body. As a result, each first, second, and third outer side surface of respective corner bodies is configured to abut a hollow body of the stackable tote at three respective internal contact areas, and to removably hold the stackable tote.
KIT FOR OPHTHALMIC SOLUTIONS IN SCREW-CAP DROPPER BOTTLES
The present invention relates to a kit for ophthalmic solutions contained in screw-cap dropper bottles, which comprises a fastening element and an applicator device for solutions, where the fastening element includes a manual gripping section followed by a cup-shaped cavity suitable for housing the screw-cap of the dropper bottle under pressure; such fastening element has the ability to serve as an extension in order to cap or uncap the screw-cap of the dropper bottle with ease, in addition to keeping such cap coupled to the fastening element while the bottle is in use.
EASILY OPENABLE CONTAINER LID
An easily openable container lid includes a shell and liner. The shell includes a flat circular top wall, a skirt wall having an arcuate part extending arcuately radially outward and downward from the peripheral edge of the top wall in a longitudinal cross sectional view and a linear part extending vertically downward following the arcuate part, and a grip piece extending from the lower end of the skirt wall. The top wall, the skirt wall and at least a base part of the grip piece are integrally formed of a metal sheet, and a pair of scores each composed of first and second portions are formed on the shell. The first portions extend on the skirt wall upward from both sides of the grip piece, and the second portions extend arcuately between the upper end part of the skirt part and the peripheral edge part of the top wall.
Low weight closure having an improved gripping surface
A closure includes a top panel and a corner section connecting an outer periphery of the top panel with a downwardly extending annular skirt. A plurality of gently curved ridges are spaced about the outer perimeter of the closure. The ridges generally extend from a lower portion of the skirt and around the corner section, with the upper ends of the ridges terminating proximate the top panel outer periphery. A plurality of knurls extend radially outwards from the midpoints of the ridges along the skirt of the closure. The configuration, arrangement, and spacing of the ridges and knurls about the closure provide an enhanced grip and feel, allowing for easier twist-off of the closure from a container. The closure may be used interchangeably with existing capping chucks used to apply conventional closures without requiring any modification to the capping chucks to apply the closures to containers during a capping process.
POUR SPOUT SYSTEM AND METHOD INCLUDING REINFORCING MATERIALS AND AUXILIARY DEVICES
A reusable pour spout system that may be attached to different container types to dispense different substances, including course and fine granular materials and liquids. A port component has a proximal tubular end and a flange that is larger in diameter than the tubular portion. The flange further includes a hole-forming structure adapted to pierce the wall of a container, leading to a ramp that captures the container material when the port component is rotated by a user. This positions the flange within the container, with the tubular end exposed to pour the contents from the container. A cap may be provided to seal off the port. The tubular end of the port component, the nut, and the cap may all be threaded. Integrally formed port devices are also disclosed along with bolstering and reinforcing layers and materials to control hole formation.
UNIVERSAL THREAD CLAMP
A universal attachment for connecting to a first device having a threaded portion and allowing for attachment of a second, different device to the first device where the first and second devices do not have compatible threaded portions for connection is described herein. The universal attachment is directed to consumers wanting to attach an external device to a threaded neck of an existing device without needing to match the thread shape, size, or dimensions of the original device.
Closure for a thin-walled flexible packaging
A closing assembly for a spout with tube for a thin-walled flexible packaging includes a cap and a connecting device comprising a strap and a guarantee seal provided with breakable bridges.
LID ASSEMBLY FOR A CONTAINER, CONTAINER HAVING A LID ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF COUPLING A LID ASSEMBLY TO A SPOUT
There is described a lid assembly for a container having a spout. The lid assembly comprises at least a coupling ring configured to be arranged around at least a portion of the spout; a lid configured to selectively cover a pouring outlet of the spout; and a tethering element tethering the lid to the coupling ring. The lid comprises at least a first gripping wall and at least a second gripping wall defining respective engagement surfaces configured to be engaged by at least a portion of an application device and/or to support gripping and/or alignment and/or rotation of the lid during a coupling of the lid assembly to the spout and being arranged on opposing portions of the lid. Each one of the first gripping wall and the second gripping wall lies on a respective plane distinct from the other one.
SAFETY CAP FOR LABORATORY AND CONSUMABLE CONTAINERS
A safety cap for containers that facilitates user handling and transport of the containers. The cap is configured with a bottom end that is engageable with a neck of the container for retention of the cap with the container. A handle extends from a top end of the cap and is configured to allow a user to lift and transport the container with their finger(s), rather than grasping the body of the bottle or the cap.
Security device for bottles
A security device for mounting over the neck of a bottle having an exterior lip has outer cap structure including an annular housing portion (16) for location about the neck of a bottle and an end cap portion (18) at one end of the annular housing portion. A claw member (14) is slidably mounted to the outer cap structure for movement in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the annular housing portion between operative and inoperative positions. A latch mechanism (60) releasably secures the claw member in the operative position. The claw member has a plurality of resiliently deformable elongate claws (52a, 52b) for engagement with the neck of a bottle to which the device is mounted when the claw member is in the operative position. The claw member comprises at least two sets of claws (52a, 52b) of different lengths. The latch mechanism (60) may be a magnetically-releasable latch enabling the device to be removed using a magnetic key. The device may incorporate a RF or RFID tag.
