Assembly Comprising a Container and a Cap
20210139202 · 2021-05-13 ·

An assembly consisting of a container (1) having a nozzle (17) for dispensing a substance contained in the container (1), and a cap (19) for covering the nozzle (17), the container having a first connection region (14) which can be connected to a corresponding second connection region (25) of the cap (19), the connection regions (14, 25) being selected such that the container (1) and the cap (19) are connected at least partially by a rotational movement of the container (1) and the cap (19) relative to one another, the cap (19) having an inner chamber (20) surrounded by a casing (22), which chamber is open at one end so as to receive the nozzle (17), the casing (22) having an end face (21) at its open end, and the container (1) having a cover face (12) which points toward the cap and has a cover edge (11), the connection regions (14, 25) being selected and the end face (21) being adapted to the cover face (12) and the cover edge (11) thereof such that, when the container (1) and the cap (19) are connected, the end face (21) comes into contact with the cover face (12) when the cap (19) is in a first intermediate position and, when the container (1) and the cap (19) are rotated further relative to one another, the end face (21) is pressed against the cover face (12) and the cap (19) ultimately reaches a second end position, the end face (21) passing over the cover edge (11).

Container assembly with locking closure

A container assembly comprising a container and a closure. The container includes a body defining a storage chamber and a neck. The neck extends away from the body and defines an open mouth providing access to the storage chamber. The neck further defines an exterior surface and at least two latching protrusions extending radially outwardly from the exterior surface. The closure includes a top wall, a cylindrical wall extending downwardly from the top wall, a first lug extending radially inwardly from the cylindrical wall, and a second lug extending radially inwardly from the cylindrical wall. A top surface of the first lug and a top surface of the second lug are each positioned a substantially identical distance away from the top wall and the first lug and the second lug are each configured to selectively lock with a common one of the at least two latching protrusions.

CONTAINER AND CAP HAVING TAMPER-EVIDENT MEMBER

A container includes a container body with a projection and a cap with a cover member, an inner member, and an outer member. The inner member is threadably engaged to the neck of the container body and is supported for movement between a first threaded position and a second threaded position relative to the container body. The outer member depends from the cover member and extends at least partly about the inner member and an axis. The outer member includes a tamper-evident member that includes an abutment member configured to engage with the projection to limit movement of the cap from the first threaded position to the second threaded position. Also, the tamper-evident member is permanently deformable to disengage the projection and allow movement of the cap from the first threaded position to the second threaded position.

Sealable Container System

A sealable container system contains a body and a lid assembly. The body includes an internal volume defined by bottom and side wall(s), bump(s) on the inside surface of the side wall and projecting toward the internal volume, and a lid with outer and inner walls at its bottom side with a channel in-between. A gasket couples to the lid with a wall portion residing within the channel and a lip outside the channel. When the lid assembly is pressed into the body, the lip of the gasket engages the bumps and deforms, and a gap forms between the lip and the side wall, where air in the internal volume exits through the gap. When the lip of the gasket travels past the bumps, the lip fully seats against the inside surface of the side wall, where negative air pressure is imparted to the internal volume of the body.

BOX WITH INTERCHANGEABLE INSERT

A container device with an interchangeable insert is disclosed. In some embodiments, the present disclosure generally provides a practical, efficient and affordable solution that allows for changing an insert of the lid of a box, for example, a jewelry box.

A top surface of the first lug and a top surface of the second lug are each positioned a substantially identical distance away from the top wall and the first lug and the second lug are each configured to selectively lock with a common one of the at least two latching protrusions.

Invertible container for display and dispensing of product

An invertible container for display and dispensing of product, that uses a lid with a raised surface or solid plug that aligns with the interior of the container neck, such that when closed the lid forms a flat surface with the interior of the container and no product is permitted to enter the neck of the container where it would be obscured from view.
