Multilayer film for label and a method for providing such
The invention relates to providing a method for obtaining a multilayer film for thermally inducible shrink labels, products thereof and use of such products. The invention provides a multilayer film for labelling, the multilayer film comprising a first skin layer, a second skin layer and a core layer between the first skin layer and the second skin layer, wherein at least one of the first skin layer and the second skin layer comprises cyclic olefin copolymer and the core layer comprises copolymer of ethylene and butyl acrylate or propylene terpolymer.
HEAT-SHRINKABLE POLYESTER-BASED FILM ROLL
The present invention aims to provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film roll having decreased generation of wrinkles or longitudinal shrink mark. The present invention provides a film roll of a heat shrinkable polyester film, wherein a polyester of the polyester film contains recycled raw material from a PET bottle and an acid component of the polyester comprises isophthalic acid, and the film roll satisfies a specific average value of a shrinkage, specific isophthalic acid ratio, and specific thickness unevenness.
INKS AND LABELS TO FACILITATE RECYCLING
An ink composition includes a polymeric binder having an addition copolymer and a ketone aldehyde resin. The addition copolymer is chosen from acrylic resins, vinyl resins including copolymers of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, and mixtures and combinations thereof. The ink composition further includes a liquid carrier with at least one organic solvent.
CONTAINER SYSTEMS THAT INCLUDE SLEEVE LABELS
Container systems that include where the label is in the form of a sleeve, preferably a shrink sleeve. Consumer products that include such container systems. Arrays of consumer products, where some of the container systems include labels in the form of sleeves, and others include labels that are not in the form of sleeves. Methods of making such consumer products.
Method, apparatus and system for attaching a label on a product
The present disclosure relates to a method of attaching a shrinkable label (22) on a product (23) wherein the shrinkable label comprises a multi-layered film (1, 10) comprising a heat shrinkable material and a photothermic material (3, 4, 14), the method comprising: —transporting the at least one product on a conveyor (65); —arranging the at least one product in an irradiation volume, the irradiation volume being defined by a plurality of LED UV light emitters (63) arranged to emit UV-light in the direction of at least a shrinkable label arranged around the at least one product; —controlling the UV-light emitters to irradiate the at least one shrinkable label arranged around the one or more products in the irradiation volume in order for the photothermic material to heat up causing the heat shrinkable material to shrink around the at least one product.
SHRINK LABEL AND METHOD OF USE
A shrink label includes a first end surface, a second end surface, and a puncture extending along a portion of the shrink label between the first and second end surfaces such that the puncture is spaced a first distance away from the first end surface and the puncture is spaced a second distance away from the second end surface. The puncture is expandable to form an opening when the shrink label shrinks from an open state to a shrunk state.
CONTAINER AND CONTAINING BODY
A label is attached to a base material in a container. The container includes patterns formed in a plurality of stages on the base material by laser irradiation. The patterns may include an aggregation of dots formed by the laser irradiation. The container may further include a first information region and a second information region. Information including a numeral, a symbol, or an image is made visible by the patterns in the first information region. The second information region is formed on the label. Information including a numeral, a symbol, or an image is made visible in the second information region.
Heat-shrinkable laminated film, molded product and heat-shrinkable label comprising the film, and container
A heat-shrinkable laminated film having: (A) layer mainly having a polyester series resin; (C) layer mainly having a polystyrene series resin or mixture of polyester series and polystyrene series resins; and (B) layer mainly having polyester series and polystyrene series resins and disposed between (A) and (C) layers, the film having excellent heat-shrinkability, transparency, and interlayer-adhesiveness at room temperature, not easily peeled in a high-temperature treatment, inhibited from whitening when bent during processing, and suitable for shrinkage-packaging, shrink-bond-packaging, etc., with (B) layer having: a hard polyester series resin or mixture of hard polyester series and soft polyester series resins; and soft styrene series resin, hard styrene series resin, or mixture thereof, or with a content of the (B) layer polyester series resin smaller than that of the (A) layer one, and a content of the (C) layer polyester series resin smaller than that of the (B) layer one.
Nozzle assembly and method for fluid dispensing
A fluid delivery system for dispensing fluid can include a dispenser, such as a trigger engine-type dispenser (100), configured to draw fluid up from a container. A nozzle assembly can include a nozzle (160), and a nozzle slide (112). The nozzle slide can be configured to slide and/or rotate relative to the shroud (102) to provide different dispensing modes. In alternative examples, the nozzle (160) can be configured to rotate in 30 degree increments relative to the shroud (102) to provide the different dispensing modes or the nozzle assembly can include a nozzle extension, and the nozzle extension can be configured to rotate relative to the shroud to provide different dispensing patterns out of the nozzle. In another example a first nozzle can be configured to provide one or more dispensing modes, and a second nozzle can be configured to provide a different dispensing mode than the first nozzle. Methods of dispensing fluids and methods of assembling fluid dispensers are also disclosed.
RECYCLABLE HEAT SHRINK FILM FOR RECYCLABLE CONTAINER
A recyclable shrink label includes a heat shrink film having a first surface and a second surface opposite of the first surface; and a light blocking layer disposed adjacent the first surface and comprising a light blocking component, the light blocking layer being constructed for the recyclable shrink label to block at least 80% of incident light having wavelengths in a range of 200 nm to 900 nm. The recyclable shrink label may further include an indicia layer. The recyclable shrink label may further include a high opacity layer. The recyclable shrink label may be applied to a container, e.g., a recyclable container. Articles including the recyclable shrink label may be recycled in a process where both the container and the label are recognized as a resin and may be directed into a corresponding recycling stream. In some cases, both the container and the label include PET.
