CONTAINER CLOSURE
A plastic container closure has a screw cap with a cylindrical casing having an internal screw thread and a lid disc adjoining the casing, a security ring connected by first break-off webs to a free edge of the casing and a holding ring in the region of the container neck. The security ring has slots distributed over its circumference and each have a top edge and a bottom edge, wherein the top edge is formed by a section of the security ring that extends in the shape of a circular arc. The bottom edge is formed by a wall section that is inclined inwards in a radial direction. The bottom edge of each slot engages in a form-fitting manner with the holding ring.
CONTAINER CLOSURE
A container closure for a pour opening of a container has a first holding strip with a first and a The first end is connected to a free edge of the screw cap and a second end is connected to a security ring. A second holding strip has a third end connected to the free edge of the screw cap and a fourth end connected to the security ring. The first, second, third and fourth ends are arranged one after the other in the-acircumferential direction on the free edge and on the security ring. A first tongue has a first end and a second tongue has a second tongue end and adjoining the first tongue and is arranged between the second and the third ends. The second tongue is part of the security ring and, in an open position, the first tongue end comes into contact with the second tongue end.
Method for provisioning a container with food
Method for providing a container with food, the method comprising: providing a container for infant formula food, adding the food, sealing the container with a gas-tight membrane seal, adding an inner scannable code on the gas-tight membrane seal, closing the container with a tamper-proof closure means, so that the inner scannable code is not scannable without breaking a part of the tamper-proof closure means, and storing the inner scannable code in a database.
Tamper-evident closure
A closure (100) for a container (104) comprises a base (106) and a spout (110) disposed upon a mouth of said container (104) and defining a void space (134) between them; a cap (118) which comprises an inner body (124) concentrically disposed within an outer body (122), said cap configured to be disposed on said base (106) so as to seal therewith; and at least one tamper-evident device (136) extending between and locking together said cap (118) and said base (106), said tamper-evident device (136) comprising a flattened member extending from an edge of said inner body member (124) over at least one frangible link (140) and engaging said base (106) such that when the cap (118) is opened said at least one frangible link (140) ruptures, said tamper-evident device (136) consequently falling into and being partially obscured by said void space (134).
FOLDED OPENING-RESISTANT CONTAINER
A folded opening-resistant container includes a cover body, which has an outside that is provided with a grip part, which is connected, in an inside thereof, through a perforation line to a first engaging member; and a box body, which includes a circumferentially surrounding wall and a bottom plate arranged at a bottom inside the wall. A foldable member extends from a top end of the wall. The foldable member has an end that is provided with a second engaging member. The cover body and the box body are combinable and interlockable in a detachable manner. The foldable member is curvable or flexible to allow the second engaging member to engage and combine with the first engaging member, such that when the cover body and the box body are separated, the perforation line is broken and the first engaging member and the cover body are separated from each other.
Canister lid
A lid of molded plastic construction, includes a lid body and a cap attached to the lid body by a tether. The tether is substantially continuous with an adjacent peripheral edge of the lid body, with a tear zone between the tether and the adjacent peripheral edge of the lid body formed during molding of the lid. The tear zone is disruptable by application of a tearing pressure to free the tether from the peripheral edge.
Tamper evident carton
The folding carton having a tamper evident feature that includes a flap with at least one partial cut and a full cut.
THREADED TAMPER EVIDENCE FINISH AND CLOSURE FOR CONTAINER
A tamper evidence closure is provided for rotatably engaging with a finish of a container to seal contents within the interior of the container. A multiplicity of thin connections attach a tamper evidence band to a circumference of the tamper evidence closure. A segmented cam extends around the circumference of the tamper evidence band. An angled lower surface of the cam facilitates passing the tamper evidence band over a tamper evidence ledge of the finish during assembly of the tamper evidence closure onto the container. An upper surface of the cam engages with the tamper evidence ledge to break the thin connections and retain the tamper evidence band positioned on the finish during loosening of the tamper evidence closure. Multiple overhang portions above the cam press against an upper portion of the tamper evidence ledge to ensure that the tamper evidence band remains engaged with the tamper evidence ledge.
SECURABLE CLIP
A securable clip includes a first elongated rectangular portion and a second elongated rectangular portion connected along a common edge. The clip includes at least one locking peg, at least one receiving hole configured to receive the at least one locking peg, and a frangible portion. The frangible portion provides a visual indication that the clip has been opened. The releasing of the locking peg prevents the clip from being reclosed, reused, or sealed again.
METALLIC END CLOSURE FOR SMALL DIAMETER CONTAINER
The present disclosure generally relates to containers and container end closures, and more specifically metallic end closures for small diameter metallic beverage containers. The present disclosure also relates to the tooling used to form the novel end closure, where the tooling is itself novel. The change of the angles on the die core ring improve the mobility of the metal while forming the end closure. Specifically, when manufacturing the new end closure with the new tooling, the press output is increased by over five times.
