METHODS FOR MAKING A CONTAINER, AND RELATED SYSTEMS
A method for making a container includes forming a first cavity of a container by shaping an inner wall so that a first surface of the inner wall defines the first cavity; forming a second cavity of the container by shaping an outer wall so that a third surface of the outer wall surrounds a second surface of the inner wall such that together the third and second surfaces define the second cavity; and connecting the inner and outer walls together. The method then includes forming a hole through the outer wall to expose the second cavity to the outside ambient environment and then applying an enamel coating, while preventing the enamel coating from being deposited in the hole. After the enamel coating is applied, the method includes heating the container to glaze the enamel coating and fix the coating to the one or more surfaces.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING A CONTAINER COMPRISING A TRAY INTERNALLY COVERED WITH A LAYER OF THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL
A method for making a container, wherein in a positioning step a tray (2) constituted of a single sheet of material, folded and shaped with wrinkled zones (3) is positioned in a thermoforming mould (7), and wherein in a covering step a sheet of thermoplastic material (1) is thermoformed on the tray (2), the covering step being carried out while preventing the thermoforming mould (7) from making contact with the layer of thermoplastic material (9) at the wrinkled zones (3) of an annular flange (6) of the tray (2). Also claimed is an apparatus (13) which comprises a thermoforming mould (7) in which there are present a first peripheral portion (8) configured to support in use the annular flange (6) of the tray (2) and a second peripheral portion (17) which, in the operating position, is facing the first peripheral portion (8), wherein in the operating position, the second peripheral portion (17) is at a distance from the first peripheral portion (8) in such a way that it does not make contact with the layer of thermoplastic material (9) stuck to the tray (2), at the wrinkled zones (3) of the annular flange (6).
Polyester-based coating composition for metal substrates
The present invention provides novel packaging articles, e.g., food and beverage cans, having a novel coating composition applied to at least a portion of a surface thereon. In preferred embodiments, the coating composition includes at least a film-forming amount of a copolyester resin having a backbone that includes one or more soft segments and a plurality of hard segments. The copolyester resin preferably has a glass transition temperature from about from about 10° C. to about 50° C. The present invention also provides a method for making coated articles.

Coated Insert for Food Handling Totes
A corrugated paperboard insert for plastic totes includes four side walls and a bottom made from a single sheet of corrugated paperboard. The bottom comprises four interlocking flaps connected along fold lines to respective sidewalls and configured to form an auto-locking bottom that avoids the need for taping. The corrugated paperboard comprises an uncoated linerboard forming an exterior surface of the insert, a coated linerboard forming an interior surface of the insert, a corrugated sheet fixed between the outer linerboard and inner linerboard. The coated linerboard includes a water-based, moisture resistant coating that is food contact rated and recyclable with uncoated paperboard. In some embodiments, point size and/or weight of the inner linerboard is greater than a point size and weight of the outer linerboard.

Storage container for automated dispensing of individual medicament portions
Described herein are methods and systems for automated dispensing of individual medicament portions. The systems can include a housing that encloses a receiving space having a bottom surface. A separation device may be provided and arranged on the bottom surface with at least one channel to receive at least one medicament portion. At least one channel may have an opening facing the receiving space and an opening facing the bottom surface. The opening facing the bottom surface may be associated with a contact area on the bottom surface, over which contact area the medicament portions may be guided upon a movement of separation device. At least one recess may be arranged in the bottom surface outside of the contact area to receive contamination particles present in the container.

FOOD STORAGE CONTAINER
To provide a food storage container capable of preventing penetration of blood and juice and there is almost no level difference in the four corners not to generate air space even when a top seal is applied. A food storage container is formed in a heavy paper material from a pulp material, wherein the heavy paper material is coated with a thermoplastic resin having a heat sealability, a folding piece connecting a side face piece with a neighboring side face piece is provided on each of four corners of the heavy paper material, one end of an upper end of the folding piece reaches a position between an inner end of a flange portion of one of the two neighboring side face pieces arranged on an upper surface and an intermediate position of the inner end and an outer end of the flange portion, the other end of the upper end of the folding piece does not reach the flange portion of the other of the two neighboring side face pieces, and the two neighboring side face pieces are overlapped and adhered with each other sandwiching the folding piece. Thus, a connection portion of the flange portions can be formed flatly.
