CAN LID
A can lid is provided to be made of a steel plate and easy to be opened. An opening piece is enclosed by a score line formed on a periphery of a panel portion. An installation portion of a tab is attached to the opening piece at a site close to a circumference of the opening piece. The tab includes a finger grip portion that is situated closer to a center of the opening piece than the installation portion, and a nose portion that is situated on an opposite side to the finger grip portion at a radially outer side of the score line. A portion of the panel portion underneath the nose portion serves as a support section that supports the nose portion from below. An outer circumferential bead is formed on a radially outer side of the score line to enhance a bending stiffness of the support section.
EASY KEY CONTAINER LID
A lid for a container, such as a food, beverage, or storage container, may include a laterally extending lid body and a tab. The lid body may have a proximally extending protrusion and a distally extending well. The protrusion and the well may be radially aligned with one another. The tab may be fixed to the lid body. The tab may include a nose, a handle, and a medial portion that extends between the nose and the handle. The tab may be positionable such that the tab contacts the protrusion causing the handle to be lifted proximally away from the lid body relative to the handle.
CAN ENDS FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINERS AND RELATED METHODS
Can ends for beverage containers and related methods are disclosed. An example can end includes a center panel, the center panel having a first area, and a pour panel formed on the center panel, the pour panel to define a pour opening having a second area, where a first area-to-second area ratio is approximately 0.22 inches.

PT2 pull tab lids stacking
The invention relates to food and beverage containers and the lids that are used to close such containers. During the manufacturing process, it is desirable to stack the lids one on top of the other before presenting them to the machine that will join the lids to the bodies of the containers. Some lids according to my previous invention have ancillary components attached to their main bodies, such as pull tabs that have raised lifter tips or punch tips. Sometimes, the lids have also certain recesses and/or protrusions below or above the main body of the lids. Such ancillaries and/or recesses or protrusions could disturb the integrity of the stacks. Some experts in the industry indicated that they consider that such a stack could be unacceptably SQUISHY. This invention proposes ways and methods and construction designs, which would eliminate such stacking problems, even in the presence of such ancillaries and/or recesses or protrusions or other similar irregular shapes. The stacks will not be squishy.
Can end with strengthening bead configuration
A can end that is attached to a metal can body with a bottom end forming a cavity that may be filled with food, liquid, etc. The can end is made of metal with a bead configuration located in the outer circumference of the can end that increases its resistance to deformation when subjected to high pressure cooking environments and assists in preventing the can end from separating along the frangible score.
