Beverage Container For Forming A Head On A Poured Beverage
A beverage container for a nitrogenated beverage comprises at least two restricted outlet apertures (11, 12) configured to, when pouring therefrom into a secondary vessel, form jets of beverage that impinge downstream. Impingement initiates nucleation of dissolved nitrogen gas in the beverage and, as such, when poured into the vessel a creamy head of fine nitrogen/mixed gas bubbles can be formed. The restricted outlet apertures can be formed in a plate (10) over an openable mouth of the beverage container, or directly upon the container. Preferably a vent (14) or some other means is included to increase the velocity of the jets.
Can lid and beverage can
A first score line (430) is provided with a modified groove width portion (435) in which the groove width differs from the groove width of other portions. This modified groove width portion (435) is formed by imparting curvature to a point of a first side surface (430B) and this portion of a second side surface (430C) are respectively distended in an outward direction. To describe further, the modified groove width portion (435) is formed by forming respective recessed portions in the first side surface (430B) and the second side surface (430C). In so doing, rupture of a panel can take place in satisfactory fashion along a score line having a branched portion.
EASY-OPEN CAN END OPENED BY ROTATED BAR
An easy-open can end for making an opening therethrough suitable for pouring comprises an end plate, a score line in the end plate defining most of the periphery of a tear panel while leaving a hinge, and a protrusion formed on the tear panel. To open the easy-open can end, the protrusion is pressed down by a rotating bar horizontally rotated over the protrusion or by a body vertically hitting the protrusion to cause relative vertical movement between the tear panel and the remainder of the end plate, rupture of the score line, and swinging of the tear panel down about the hinge to an open position.
Lid for an aluminum beverage can
A can lid (14) for an aluminum beverage can is disclosed and has a pull tab (38), a chuck wall (26) defining a plug diameter B, a countersink (28) and a central panel (30) having a panel radius (48). On the central panel, a score line (34) defining a tear panel (32) and a rivet (40) for connecting the pull-tab to the can lid are arranged. The lid has a lid plug diameter of between 45 to 49 mm, an outside diameter of between 52 to 55 mm, and a weight of less than 1.9 g. The central panel has a thickness of less than 0.19 mm. The rivet is arranged off-center on the central panel. The rivet is tilted, so that the rivet provides an axis of rotation of the pull tap that has an angle of between 2° and 4° with respect to an axis that is vertically orientated with respect to the central panel, and/or at least one ramp-up bead (56) is arranged on either side of pull tab or on both sides of the pull tab.
Panel, and a container body and a container provided with such panel
The present invention relates to a panel including a peripheral edge to be connected to a container body of a container, and a tab connected to the panel, which tab includes a front tab part and a rear tab part for gripping and forming an opening in the panel, wherein the panel is provided with means preventing an external can structure to engage with the rear tab part, and to a can body and a can including such a panel.
LID FOR AN ALUMINUM BEVERAGE CAN
Can lid (14) for an aluminum beverage can, said can lid comprising a pull tab (38), said can lid having a chuck wall (26) defining a plug diameter B, a countersink (28) and central panel (30) having a panel radius (48). The rivet is tilted, so that the rivet provides an axis of rotation of the pull tap that has an angle of between 2 and 4 with respect to an axis that is vertically orientated with respect to the central panel, and/or at least one ramp-up bead (56) is arranged on either side of pull tab or on both sides of pull tab.
Closure for a container, closure components, and method of use thereof
A closure body (40) is provided for installation with a liner membrane (52) on a container (44). The closure body (40) has a peripheral portion (74) for being mounted on the container (44) around an access opening (48), and a separable portion (82) that (i) is disposed laterally inwardly of the peripheral portion (74); (ii) is initially connected to the peripheral portion (74) by at least one frangible connection (86); and (iii) can be separated from the peripheral portion (74) upon breaking of the at least one frangible connection (86). The closure body (40) has an opening member (94) that is connected with the separable portion (82) to accommodate movement of the opening member (94) relative to the separable portion (82). The opening member (94) has a grippable portion (102) and a puncture portion (106) each disposed in an initial inactive orientation relative to the separable portion (74).
Beverage container finger ring
A beverage container finger ring that allows an individual to easily carry one or multiple beverage container by utilizing only their fingers includes a bottle cap, a bottle carrying ring, a tab, a flexible connector. The tab is adjacently connected to the bottle carrying ring. The bottle carrying ring is adjacently connected to a lateral wall of the bottle cap by the flexible connector so that the bottle carrying ring can be moved in between an opened configuration and a closed configuration. The placement of the bottle carrying ring differentiates multiple embodiments of the beverage container finger ring as the bottle carrying ring can be concentrically positioned to the bottle cap, positioned against the lateral wall from top, and positioned against the lateral wall from bottom with respect to the closed configuration.
Beverage container sound device
A noise producing beverage container comprising a container having a surface which includes a sealed opening in the surface. The noise producing beverage container includes a sound making device attached to the interior of the container adjacent the sealed opening and an arm movable upon opening the sealed opening to contact the sound making device. The sealed opening is initially in a closed position and upon opening the sealed opening the arm contacts the sound making device to produce a sound.
