Shipping pallet arrangement and methods for increasing trailer loads to reduce road milage and cut costs
A shipping pallet arrangement includes a first pallet having a first underdeck opening to a first storage volume under a top deck, said top deck supporting goods for transport; and a first underdeck container holding goods and received within the first storage volume. A method for shipping goods in a transport container includes positioning a first pallet in the transport container, the first pallet having a first underdeck opening to a first storage volume under a top deck having goods thereon; storing goods within a first underdeck container; after the step of storing and the step of positioning, receiving the first underdeck container at least partially within the first storage volume; and after the step of receiving, shipping the transport container.
PIEZOELECTRIC BASED PALLET GENERATOR FOR DEVICE CHARGING
A piezoelectric generator structure disposed between an upper platform and a lower platform that includes a lower piezoelectric pad, an upper piezoelectric pad, and a connecting shaft. The lower piezoelectric pad coupled to the upper piezoelectric pad via the connecting shaft, where the lower piezoelectric pad is configured to compress under a downward motion of the upper platform during a compression movement due to an additional load being applied to an existing load on a top surface of the upper platform, where the lower piezoelectric pad produces a first voltage due to the compression movement. The upper piezoelectric pad configured to compress under an upward motion of the upper platform during a rebound movement of the upper platform, where the upper piezoelectric pad produces a second voltage due to the rebound movement. The generator structure configured to provide the first and the second voltage to a coupled power storage unit.

Pallet with integrated weighing function
The present invention relates to a pallet, or like platform, for supporting a load to be lifted or lowered, comprising: a deck having a deck upper surface for placing the load thereon, a load sensor device, comprising a weighing element included in a measuring circuit, wherein the weighing element contacts the deck over a contact area such that the weighing element deforms in unity with the deck and an electrical property of the weighing element varies with the deformation of the weighing element.
PALLET STRUCTURE HAVING PRESET SHAPE FOR HOLDING SUPPORT
A pallet structure having a preset shape for holding a support, the pallet structure comprising a shape main body and at least one support accommodated in the shape main body. The shape main body is provided with transverse grooves for accommodating a fork for lifting pallet. An elongate transverse strip can be placed in the transverse groove. The rigidity and load capacity of the pallet structure can be enhanced when placed on the ground with goods or lifted from the ground. The shape main body is provided with vertical grooves conformed to the appearance of the support, which allows the support on the shape main body to not easily displace and loosen, and also provides supporting and fork-lifting rigidity during carrying the goods with better weather resistance to avoid moisture and rust. Moreover, different load capacities can be achieved by modifying the amount, material, shape, thickness, etc. of the support.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRACKING PALLETS
A tracking apparatus for tracking pallets and other shipping units. The tracking apparatus includes a main body that has a first end, a second end opposite to the first end, and a longitudinal axis defined therebetween. The tracking apparatus also defines a cavity that extends downwardly into the main body along an axis that is non-parallel to the longitudinal axis. The tracking apparatus also includes a tracking element that is encapsulated inside of the cavity and is free from being in contact with an external environment that is external to the main body. The main body of the tracking apparatus also is adapted to be mounted to a shipping unit
BULK SHIPPER PALLET AND ISOLATOR FOR BULK FREEZING APPLICATIONS
An isolator includes a first section, a second section, and a third section is disclosed. The first section is configured to secure the isolator in a mount that is defined through a mounting section. The second section is disposed over the first section and is configured to be supported by a first surface of the mounting section. The third section is disposed on top of the second section such that the second section is sandwiched between the first section and the third section. The second section dampens forces exerted on the third section or the first section from being transmitted therebetween. A method for manufacturing a pallet that is configured to be frozen is also disclosed. The method includes friction stir welding along a first joining edge and second joining edge that are abutted together to joined together to form a first segment.
PALLET FOOT
A pallet foot is provided. The pallet foot includes a guide portion and a support portion located below the guide portion. An opening is formed in a top of the guide portion. The guide portion is internally provided with a stretching space in a shape of a reverse taper. A cavity is formed in the support portion. The cavity is connected with the stretching space.
